Sloppy Tom / まったりトム君

昨年北海道にお引越ししたトム君のママから久しぶりにお便りをいただきました。

トム君がお引越ししたのは、昨年の12月25日のクリスマスの日。
明日であれから2ヶ月。

本当に早いものです。
もう満8ヶ月となりました。体重も6kg前後になっているのではないかと思います。

最近の彼の様子は・・・

今日で　トムはわが家にきて　60日となりました。
体調にも問題なく彼はわが家の猫次男となりました。
相変わらず　ノンビリで　時にダラーンとしているので、体調でも悪いのかなと心配してしまいますが　ご飯もりもり、眠いか暑いからしいです。

やっぱり、彼にはのんびりした生活が合うようです。
コーギーのエマお姉さんとも仲良しになれたのか・・・

トム君のママからのお手紙に書かれている彼の名前『トム』。　
もう君とか付いてなくて、これで彼も本当に家族としての地位を確立したのだな～と、ちょっとうれしくなりました。
『猫次男』という言葉の響きも素敵だなーと。

誰にでも幸せになる権利があり、幸せになれる場所がある。

トム君、のんびり、まったり、素敵な毎日を過ごしてね。



Today we received a e-mail from Tom’s mom.


He moved to Hokkaido on last Dec. 25th, the very day of Christmas.

Fully 2 months is going to pass by tomorrow.
Time does fly!
He is now 8 months old and must be around 6kg.

Following is the summary of Tom's mom's letter ….

60days has passed since he joined the family.
He is living healthy and now became the “Second Cat Son”of mine.

Carefree as usual and some times sloppy is how he is.
His attitude sometimes made me worry about his health,
but he eats lot and so being sloppy is maybe because he was just a bit too warm or sleepy.

Now I am sure he is a natural born “Carefree” type.
I hope he got well going with her Corgi sister Ema.

I found a happy writtings in Tom’s mom’s mail.

She was writing “Tom” without title. (In Japan, we usually do not call others without certain title. When we call a person only by name, it means that one is really closed to the others)

So this means Tom is really welcomed and became the true member.

And also the words “Second Cat Son”.
This phrase also leaves a nice felling inside me.

Every body has the right to become happy and there must be the best place to make it true.
And you found the very one, Tom!
