20th TICA & BCF Cat Show

Today (Sunday) Judith attended the BCF Cat Show held in Higashi-nihonbashi, Tokyo.

She now became 8 months old, just in a blink.
This was her debut to the Championship.

Tomboy princess has won 2 finals when she attended the Kitten Class.

Last time she was just 6 months old and looked like that she did not understand much about the show, she was just as same as being at home.

But it looked totally different this time.

As I was doing the role of a clerk, I again did not have to watch every ring she has attended.

Her result was chosen BOB 3rd twice of 8 rings.
Being with "Big MC Boys", this was not so much bad, maybe.

Judy was born between Scarlett and Raphael, and is the smallest on of the litter.
Even being the smallest one, she is the most high energy cat of the litter.

But at the ring she was shaking.
"Lion at home and a mouse abroad" maybe what she is.
And was exhaling hare!

Seeing her like this, we decided her next show to be the last.
Next show is C.R.E.D.O., which may have Ladies Congress for novice.
Having a guts does not equals to the strength at the show, is what I re-learned.

Our "Huffy Princess", please allow us to take you to the show once more!

As I wrote before, the top priority was the photo session.

She was photographed by Hiroko & Tetsu Yamazaki.
I heard that she performed very well there before the show started.

Judy, thank you for your attendance!

By the way about the show, what I personally felt was...
(Well as a clerk I was stickied at the ring side, so my impression is only what I felt from that position)

As a matter of fact, the 2010-2011 season is to close about in 1.5 months.

So the "Top 5" members are almost fixed, which means I see them almost every time and there were no new faces at the ring.
They all looked stable, but may be some were exhausted for the long time attendance.
Some are attending more then 10 shows, what a long period for them!

Another thing I thought was may be the cages are becoming a bit small or the cats became a bit big at standard.
Well thinking of the highways constructed in the 60's and the ones constructed in the near days could be easy to explain.
In the 60's, the size of the car was more compact than now in Japan.
Now driving at the old type highway, it is a bit frightening.

So what I felt is that the size of the door is now becoming a bit small for some of the cats and it looked like some were frustrated of that.
But when I attended the TCC show 2 weeks ago, some cats were also hissing like this time, so may be this was not the only reason.
The cage was new type and the door was more big type.

I was imaging the reason of them being fussing and hissing.
Conclusion may be is that the cats and people are exhausted because of year end.

Any way, a bit more to go guys.

Let's create great memories.
There is nothing that las forever.

Attending the shows is going to become a memorie to remember in May!
