3月30、31日に開かれた、TICAアジアのリージョナルショーに、久々に猫を連れて参加して来ました。
約4ヶ月ぶりのショー。
サニーがショーから遠ざかり、昨年の1０月、12月、今年の2月に赤ちゃん達が生まれたりでばたばたしていました。
その昨年の10月に生まれたシンディとアインの子も早5ヶ月となり、今回のショーデビューとなりました。
４兄弟／姉妹のうち、男の子一匹は既に京都にお引越しているので、残る3匹を連れての参加。
通称あかたすはアルベルト、でかたすはドロシー、そしてちびたすはアーシュラとなっての参加です。
10月生れの、通称ハロウィーン・リッター。
この子達は、誰に似たのか特に人懐っこい子達で、実に楽しい3人(匹）組です。
ショー前のシャンプーとドライヤーに一番平気な状態だったのは、なんと"でかたす"。
それぞれに、特にドライヤーにはびっくりしたようですが、一番初めに開き直ったのが彼女。
体の一番大きい男の子"あかたす"は、頭隠して尻隠さず状態。
こんなところにもそれぞれの個性が出て、大変な中にも中々に面白い光景でもありました。
On March 30ty and 31st, we attended the TICA Asia Regional Show. It was almost 4 months since the last show we have attended.
Sunny semi retired the show, we welcomed the now borns in Oct, Dec and this Feb. So was being busy for a quite a while.
The "Halloween Litter", children of Cindy and Cascade Mtn. Einstein are now 5 months old. One red boy, aka Minitus already moved to his new home, so 3 kittens attended the show with their new name.
They had their first show shampoo, first show grooming, surrounded by many surprises!
Anything the little ones do and react is always makes us smile and happy.
三匹にはそれぞれのショー用の名が付きました。
Now they have their official name:
あかたすは、アルベルトに（これは、父の名前がアインシュタインで苗字にあたるので、人間のアインシュタイン博士の名前の方を命名）。
aka Akatus is now Albert, a name from Dr. Albert Einstein. Name itself has the meaning of "Bright".
でかたすは、ドロシーに。 神の贈り物を意味します。
aka Dekatus is now "Dorothy" which means a gift of God.
そして、ちびたすは、アーシュラに。 こちらはアメリカのゲド戦記を書いた女流作家の名前です。
aka Chibitus is now Ursula, a name from American author of novels. Name itself has a meaning of "little bear".
ちなみに、名前は何故かほとんど相方が付けます。
Not really clear about, but most of the names are given by mu husband.
さて、ショー初日の土曜の朝、人間で言えば小学生になるかならないかの3匹を引き連れて、人間二人でいつもの東京は東日本橋の会場に向かいました。
道中は後部座席に乗せたシェルターに3匹すし詰め。
誰もトイレをもよおさないでくれて助かりました。
まだ小さいせいか怖いもの知らず。
会場の控えケージから散歩に行こうとする輩もおりました。
まだまだチビッコの三匹。
この先、みんなそれぞれの道を歩んで行くことを考えると、今回の2日間のショー、彼らには長い時間だったとは思いますが、一緒に居られてよかったと思います。
通称みにたすは、一足早くにお引っ越しをしてしまったので、一緒に参加することはできませんでしたが・・・
それぞれいっぱい褒めていただいて、一番の目的だったプロショットも撮ってもらえて。
それは、それは素敵な二日間でした。
Saturday, the first day of the show, we left our place early in the morning. 3 kindergarden age kids (kittens) and us headed to the show hall at Tokyo.
All 3 was in the shelter behind the fron seat and sometimes talking a lot during the move. Luckily no one used the toilet so didn't had to deal with a mess.
As may be because that are young, all seemed so curious and some tried to have a walk in the show hall!
As they are just only 5 months old, I do not have any idea of their future. I mean some may become a show cat, join the breeding group or may find their best family. Two days show was may be tough for them but for me, personally I enjoyed being with them. Even a litter mate, they are individuals and have different personality. To know each of them more is always a happy thing.
They had photo session with Tets, individually and also by group.
They received nice commets at the show from the judges and our friends.
Won some finals too.
TICAアジアのスタッフの皆様、ジャッジ各位、参加者の皆様、楽しい時間をありがとうございました。
おかげさまで、思いでいっぱいの楽しい時間を子猫達と過ごすことができました。
