Koharu's Diary "Extra Edition" /心晴（こはる）君便り <番外編>

本日は数ヶ月ぶりに山梨に行って来ました。
5月にわが家から巣立った心晴君に逢いに！

心晴君、すっかりT家の息子になったものの、やはりお仲間が欲しくなったとのこと。
彼の新しい仲間となれる子を連れての旅です。
ドアのガラスに写る自分の姿を見ては、一生懸命に話かけているという心晴君。

わが家の誰が一番心晴君と楽しい時間を過ごせるのか・・・
あれこれ悩んで彼のご家族にも相談した結果、マギー姐さんがいいだろうと。

This morning we again headed for Yamanashi Pref., a place which is famous by winery.

There lives Koharu whom was born in our cattery.
Few months ago, we received a message from his family that he is looking lonesome these days and it may be the time to welcome a new member.
When he see himself on the window or glass door he is trying to contact to the cat which is he himself.

So who is the best to join him...?
This was a big question and with deep thinking we finally decided to take Maggie.

マギーは2010年8月生まれで、埼玉のキャッテリー・シャイルからわが家に引っ越して来たのは2011年の4月。

ちょっと大きくなってからやって来た彼女は、わが家生れのジュデイスの良き友達になってくれました。
ジュディスとほぼ同じ頃に4児の母となり、共同で子育てをしてくれた子煩悩な母猫でもありました。

猫も人も大好きで。
優しくて、おっとりしていて。
特技は、人間の体を前足でマッサージ（フミフミ）すること。

マギーの子猫達は全員わが家を巣立ち、マギーも現役を引退。
わが家で優雅に暮らしていましたが、最近は猫メンバーの構成もかわり、以前ほどは快適ではなくなってしまっていました。

Maggy was born in Aug., 2010 at Cattery Chatle in Saitama and joined us in Apr., 2011.

She was already 8 months old at that time but became a good friend of our Judith.
They both delivered babies at almost same timing and helped each other to raise them.

Maggie is a really wonderful girl who loves both cats and human.
Has a very gentle and kind personality full of hospitality too.
All of her offspring moved to their forever loving home and she also been neutered.
Was enjoying her own life with us but since years has past and our other members has changed, she seemed not so happy as she used to be...

「猫生でのお引越は基本一回」というのがわが家の基本ルールですが、気だての優しいマギーの最近の様子を見ていて「本当にこれで良いのか’・・・」と考えてしまっていたのもまた事実でした。

新しいお家に送り出す場合、大人猫に関しては子猫の場合とまた違った意味で慎重にならざるおえません。

”今”以上でなければ決して送り出せないのです。
それも性格が形成されているからなおのこと・・・
どんなに素敵なご家族でも、本猫が認めなければ成立はしないのです。

心晴君のご家族から頂戴するメールや写真で、心晴君が凄く幸せに暮らしていると確信していました。
ここでならマギーも更に幸せになれると思い、今日という日を迎えました。
それでも、両家ともに心晴君とマギーが対面してどうなるのか・・・という不安はありました。
そんなドキドキ感を抱えて到着。

"One time moving"  for the kittens whom came from another cattery is our basic motto.
But watching Maggie's these days made us reconsider about it.
We really had to think the best way for her.

If we decide to move her, it has to be the "Best" not better.

Exchanging lots of emails and hearing about Koharu's condition, we felt his family is really reliable.
Of course the final decision is to be done by both Maggie and Koharu.
If one of them refuses this won't happen.
The also have rights to say "NO!".

お邪魔してマギーのキャリーを開けて・・・
暫くは出て来ないだろうと思ったら・・・

マギー、すたすたと出て来て新しい場所の早速探検開始！

一緒に暮らしていたとはいえ、心晴君はマギーのことは覚えていないのは当然のこと。
闖入者に一回だけシャーと（笑）
その後は、マギーの後ろをずっと付いてまわっていました。

With a bit of excitement and lots of worries we finally reached Koharu's home.
Opened the carry door... thinking it will take a bit for Maggie to come out...

She easily came out and started to check each rooms! What a surprise!!! This never happens when we take her to the vet! LOL
Koharu was like a stalker following after her all around. He hissed to her only once... a very small welcome hiss! LOL

時折、マギーの匂いチェックをする心晴君。
マギーが急に振り返ると一瞬ドキッとするらしく、腰が引けている場面も何度か・・・！
それでも、新しいお仲間ができてうれしいようで、しっぽを高くあげて一生懸命付いて歩いている心晴君。
どうやら、中々良いスタートを切れたようです。

Koharu was checking Maggie's smell sometimes and holding his tail really high!
Seemed he was not refusing her.

しまいには、お腹を出して“仲間♪”のサービスまでしてくれた心晴君。
マギーの方は気が付いているのかいないのか・・・知らんぷりでしたが（笑）
本当に微笑ましい光景でした。
椅子の上に乗っているマギーと床にへそ天で転がる心晴君。
何か、未来の上下関係を暗示しているようです。

このふたりなら、きっとうまく行くと思えた瞬間のひとつです。
はじめての場所で、用意していただいた新しいトイレを早速使い、カリカリを食べたマギー。
どうぞ、この幸先の良いスタートがしっかり根付きますように！

And he finally did belly-up,sending the message "OK, I surrender!" LOL
While he was behaving like that she was sitting on the chair and was acting like a Queen!

When I saw this I felt this reunion may work out.
She used the new litter box and ate dry food.
Looks like nothing to worry about.

Hope this to continue.

T様ご一家、心晴君、マギー姐さんをよろしくお願いいたします。
「万が一新しいお家が合わなかったら、マギーが可哀想」とおっしゃっていただいた一言もうれしかったです。
猫達が幸せなら、人も幸せ。
皆が幸せにならなければ意味がありません。
"プロジェクト心晴君”は実は”プロジェクト・マギー”であり、”プロジェクト幸せ探し”というのが本当のところです。

マギーが今まで以上に幸せになることは、ちょっと寂しくなっていた様子の心晴君がハッピーになること。

心晴君のご家族に逢えたことに感謝です。
二回目の山梨へのドライブ、今回も忘れられぬ素敵な思い出となりました！

T family and Koharu, thank you for welcoming Maggie so much.
And we really appreciate of your thought not to let Maggie feel sad incase she does not fit into the family and have to come back to us.
If the cats are happy, people are also happy.
"Project Koharu" is equal to "Project Maggie" and it is called "Project Happiness!"

We really thank for having a chance to know Koharu's family and this times visiting also became a wonderful thing to remember.

本当は、マギーが完全に新しいお家に馴れてから記事をアップしようと考えていましたが、今日のふたりの姿を見て、「きっとうまくいく」という気がしたので早々の掲載に踏み切りました。
マギーの実家のママ、マギーの子供達のご家族様各位、マギーは元気にしています。
わが家では足りなくなってしまった幸せ以上のものを新しいお家で手に入れてくれると思います。
マギー、至らないことがいっぱいでごめんね。
そして、素敵な時間をありがとう！

Well may be it was wise not to upload about Maggie till she really settle down but watching today's Koharu and Maggie, I felt quite sure that they both shall go along well.
Thanks to Maggie's cattery for letting have her.
Greetings and message to the families living with her offspring.
She is going to get more then what she had in our place.

And Maggie, thanks for being with us. Our love never changes even you are not here.

「ボーイ・ミーツ・ア・ガール！」マギーと心晴君の新しい章の始まりです。

Boy Meets "A" Girl !　A new chapter of life of Maggie and Koharu has just began.
