TICA & CPP 14th and 15th Cat Show

年内最後のショーということで、東日本橋で開かれたCPPのキャット・ショーに行って来ました。

テーマは「クリスマス・キャット・ショー」。
会場の雰囲気もクリスマスを盛り上げる色とディスプレイ。

良い感じでした。

Dec. 22nd was the last show of year 2014.
So to say greeting, we went to the CPP show with Chloe.
This time's theme was "Christmas" so all the props and color were related to Christmas!

前回までは、ほとんど男の子ばかりだったショーに今回は女の子が5頭エントリー。
チャンピオンシップクラスのメインクーン9頭のうち半数以上が女の子というさらに華やかな顔ぶれでした。

This time 9 Maine Coon were attending and 5 were girls.
So nice to have many girls in a low.

ちょうど、一歳のお誕生日を迎えたくろたす嬢。
どうやら、いつまでもショー気分ではなくなったようです。
この写真は、長田ジャッジのリングに付いていた韓国から来日されたトレーニー（ジャッジ見習い中）のサニーさんとのもの。
とっても優しい手つきで審査してくださいました。

And our Chloe just became a year old.
Now she seems that she has graduated the "kid" generation...
This photo is Ms. Sunny (I am sorry, I'm not sure about her name) from South Korea. A very attractive TICA Judge trainee at Ms. Osada's ring.

綺麗に伸ばしていただいている姿はやはりいいものです。

今回のショーは、ジャッジ台にスクラッチポストがありました。
ショーでのスクラッチ・ポストはわが家の猫達にも、われわれにも初めて。
くろえも初めて見る長いスクラッチ・ポストには戸惑っていたようです。
貝塚ジャッジのリングで、ポストをしげしげ眺め・・・

At this times show, scratch posts were set.
For our cats, this was the very firs show to have those.
Chloe seemed wondering what to do with this.
Just was watching the post at Ms. Kaizuka's ring.

岩田ジャッジのリングでも取りあえず、眺めるだけ・・・

And same at Ms. Iwata's ring...

田﨑ジャッジのリングでも、おしとやかに審査されていました。

くろたすは、この田﨑ジャッジのリングでファイナルに残ることができました。

新しい顔ぶれが増え、厳しい状況の中のうれしい一本でした。

Still was the same at Ms. Tasaki's ring.
Just was polite enough and did act as a "lady cat"! LOL
At this ring, happy to say, she got the final.

もう、ショーには疲れてしまった感じのくろたす。
控えシエルター内の一番のお気に入りの場所は、トイレの中。
ほっとしている顔つきの一枚です。

It looked like she has lost interest towards the show.

今回のショーは、オルタネィティヴ形式。

午後は、第15回として開催されました。

横山ジャッジのリングでのくろたす。

真っすぐ伸びた綺麗な後ろ足も健在ですw

ここでも、まだスクラッチ・ポールを眺めているだけでした。

This times show was alternative style.
SO the PM show was held as 15th.

Chloe at Ms. Yokoyama's ring.
Showing her straight back legs which was praised in the past are still here.
And still was watching the post...

鶴岡ジャッジのリングで、やっとポールの使い方がわかったようですw

がっちり掴んで立ち上がっています。

ちょっと、テッポウの練習をしているお相撲さんを思い出してしまいました。

足腰がすごくしっかりしているくろたす。

良いストレス発散方法を習得してくれたようです。

And at Ms. Tsuruoka's ring, she finally noticed what this is for.
Grabbing it strongly and standing straight.
It reminded me of Sumo wrestler training style, "Teppo"! LOL

午後のショーでは、トレーニーのサニーさんは大泉ジャッジのリングに付いていました。
覚えたばかりのスクラッチ・ポールの使い方を再度試すくろたす。
今回は、何のためらいもなくするするとスクラッチ・ポールに近寄っていきました。
なかなか良い写真が撮れましたw
サニーさんとくろたすの目線の先が一致しています。
一人と一頭。　同じ瞬間を共有している一枚です。

At PM Show, Ms. Sunny was at Ms. Oizumi's ring.
Chloe again was challenging the post.
Looks like she studied it.
Love this photo, Ms. Sunny and Chloe are watching the same direction.
Seems that they are sharing the same goal.

こちらも、楽しそうな一枚です。

After all, Ms. Oizumi judged Chloe
Looks three of them are all enjoining.


CPPでのショーも楽しい物でした。
主催された皆様、ありがとうございました。
参加された皆様、お疲れさまでした。
今年も素敵な思い出をありがとうございました。

さて、年内のショーはこれですべて終りました。

CPP's show was another fun.
Thanks to all the staff, all the attendants for sharing the time.
And thank you for letting us have a wonderful memories this year too!

付記：
年が明けたら、今度はあかたすを連れて福岡のショーに参加予定です。
次回のショまで約一ヶ月近く時間が空きます。
少しゆっくりした時間が過ごせそうです。

In mid of Jan. 2014, we are planning to take Albert to the FCJ Show in Fukuoka.
About a month to relax till then.

Big Mistake! ! / 大きな間違い!!

仮名くろたす、本日無事に初めての予防接種を受けました♪

aka Kurotus had first injection today♪

体重は、生後２ヶ月で1.05kg・・・

男の子としては、小ぶり・・・

でも生後２週間でママのおっぱいが止まってしまったことを考えると、よく無事に乗り切ってくれました。　十分です、本当に。

Today's weight was 1.05kg...

Not os heavy as a boy...

But considering that his mom stopped breath feeding at 2 weeks old, this may be a good result. Yes, this is good enough for us, really.

男の子にしては優しい顔つき・・・

「女の子だったら、決して小さくはないのけれど」、と何度思ったか。

As a boy, he is may be too sweet...

"If  she was a girl, is not so small..."

How many times did I though so.

病院でも先生やスタッフの方に、「女の子？」と聞かれたほど。

優しい顔してるから、やはり間違えられるのかなと・・・

The vet and the staff asked several times "Is he really a boy?"

目もぱっちりしていて、中々の美男子。

可愛いヤツです。

Big eyes, could become a playboy may be.

で、病院の帰り、あまりに女の子かと聞かれたので自信喪失。

チェックし直すことにしました。

で・・・嫌がるくろたすのオマタをちぇっく！

As we were asked so many times about his gender, we decided to check it gain.

Being refused we did check it.

やっぱり・・・“女の子”でした〜!!!

Yes! He was not he!!!! He was a "Girl"! OMG

不思議なもので、女の子、ということが判明したら、すっかりお嬢さんにしか見えなくなりました！＞現金なものですが・・・

どちらにしろ、文字通り手塩にかけて育てた子。

無事に生後2ヶ月になってくれたことが一番です。

わんぱくで、元気で、健康で！

このまますくすく育って欲しい物です♪

It is strange, once we know he was she,  she looks as she.
She just looks like a girl...
But any way, the most happy thing is that she is growing well. Healthy and happy girl.
We did what we can and now she has a great personality.
Hope her to be what she is now!

くろたすとの正しい遊び方！

The right way to play with aka Kurotus!

aka Kurotus / くろたす

12月22日に一人っ子として産まれたくろたすです。
パパは、アインシュタイン、ママはワイルドな顔のジュディス。
生後、8週間になりました。

まだ予防接種前なので、今は優雅にママとの二人暮らし。

This is aka Kurotsu, born on Dec. 22nd, 2012.
Judith and Ein's singleton.
Now is 8 weeks old.

He is still living with only Judith for his first vaccination is not done yet.

パパに似て濃いブラウンタビーの男の子です。
最近は10月に生まれた子達と多少遊べるようになりましたが、2ヶ月の差はやはり大きく、毎晩私がこの黄色いねこじゃらしで一緒に遊ぶことが多いのが実情。
そのせいか、人間大好きな子に育っているようです。

He is a very dark brown classic tabby boy like his father.
Now days he sometimes play with the Halloween litter born in Oct.
But 2 months difference is big and his best mate for now seems to be this yellow teaser and me.
So may be for that, he is really attached to human.

まだ耳は立ち上がりきってはいませんが、かなり肉厚。

パパに似ても、ママに似ても大きな耳の持ち主になるのではないかと思います・・・

His ears are still not at where it may be but as those are really thick, I hope them to become enough large as his dad and mom...

特技は、後ろ足で立ち上がること。
仕事から帰ってくろたすの顔を見に部屋に入ると、待ってましたとばかり駆け寄って来てくれます。　そしてこのねこじゃらしでひとくさり遊ばないとご飯を食べないほどの遊び好き。
10月生れの四匹より少し小振りですが、エネルギーの塊のような男の子です。
とにかく、元気に育ってくれることを願って、夜は一緒に寝る毎日。

His speciality is to stand up by his hind legs.
After I come back from work and go into his room, he dashes to welcome me and start asking me to play with this yellow teaser. Food seems to be always a second factor for him. Yes, he is another "Play Boy"!

後２週間で初めての予防接種。

それからは、皆の前に晴れてのデビュー。
その頃には仮名みにたす君は新しいお家に引っ越していなくなってしまいますが、新たな子猫カルテットの誕生。

In 2 weeks he will have his first vaccination.
At that time aka Minitus is already gone to his new home.
Halloween litter will be going to be apart, and the new kitten Quartet shall start.

それまでは、くろたす親子との時間を大切に過ごしたいと思う今日この頃です。

新しい仲間、くろたすをよろしくお願いいたします。

Time passes quickly, so would like to enjoy few mor weeks sharing my pillow with Kurotus.
Hope him to keep this personality of his forever.
