サニーとの縁結びのキーワードとなったのは"Pajocoons TEALC"という名前でした。
今から4年前、われわれがキャットショーに参加し始めた時のことです。 わが家で生れたアルフォンスをキツンクラスに出陳。
毎回のショーの成績が発表されるTICAのウェブサイトで、キツンでトップを走っていたメインクーンの名前でした。
変わった名前であるため、目にする度に気になって、ある日キャッテリーHPを覘きに行きました。
キャッテリーの所在地はベルギー、ヨーロッパの男の子を父に、アメリカの女の子を母に持つ素晴らしく魅力的なブラウンの男の子でした。
The very words that connected me aka Sunny was the name "Pajocoons TEALC"
About 4 years ago, we started attending the TICA Show in Japan.
We were showing our Alphonse, whom was the very one born in our cattery.
Every few days after the show, I was always checking the show report on TICA website.
Cattery name and the kitten’s name caught my interest and one day I visited Pajocoons web site.
The cattery was in Belgium and there I saw the picture of TEALC. He was a brown classic tabby boy, his mother coming from states and father from Germany. He was really attractive and I easily fell in love by that one picture.
「いつか、彼のような子をキャッテリーに迎えられたら・・・」
HPをのぞく度に、そんな思いばかりが募っていきました。
憧れが募るままに時間が過ぎて行き、やがてTEALCの名前をショーの結果表で見ることはなくなりました。
TEALCの後を継いでデビューしたのがPajocoons INDIでした。
HPで確認すると、INDIはTEALCと同じ両親から生れた1歳年下の弟。
同じブラウンで、力強く大きな目、しっかりした顎と長いボディを持っていて、この両親から生まれる子供たちの特色がよくわかる気がしました。
“If I can have a boy like him someday…”
My wish became stronger and stronger each time I visited the site.
And time easily past by and finally his name was gone from the “Kitten Class” result.
After TEALC, INDI started to join the show.
According to Pajocoons site, INDI was the young brother of TEALC.
Same Brown Classic Tabby, big impressive eyes, strong muzzle and long body.
Total balances of these were the very feature of the offspring of Angie and Johnny.
それでも、われわれのようなかけだしキャッテリーから連絡を入れるなどはおこがましく思え、INDIのショーでの活躍をTICAのWebサイトで眺め続けていました。
しかし、眺めていても何も変わらない。 ダメで当たり前だからと思い意を決して長いメールを書いたのが2010年の夏でした。
ちょっとしてから返信が来て、断りの内容だろうと思いながら憂鬱な気持ちで本文を読み始めました。
そこに書かれていたのは、「男の子？、女の子？希望は？」と言う言葉でした。 メールを出して本当に良かった！
もう、その日は何も手に着かない気分で、何度も、何度もPajocoonsからの返信を読み返していました。
I once thought of contacting Pajocoons but though may be were t new to ask about having one of their offspring.
So again time just went by and I was just chasing INDI’s name on the show report.
Just watching won’t change anything! So I finally decided to contact Pajocoons via email. It was 2010 summer.
About a week later I got a reply from Wim S.
I felt I may not have a chance to have their off spring so I started to read it with a blue feeling.
Their I found the words
“Boy or a Girl?”
I couldn’t do any thing that whole day but just read the email back and force.
「日本の検疫制度の長さを了解してくれているのだろうか？」
それが次に生じた大きな心配でした。
すぐにメールを書き、男の子が欲しいこと、日本に連れて来るまでに長い待機期間があること。
それでも、猫を託してもらえるのか・・・
もし、託してもらえるなら、必ず我々が迎えに行く、ということを書きました。
また、私自信がTEALCの大ファンであることも。
“Do they accept the length to hold a kitten to meet Japanese quarantine?”
This became the next worry in me.
I wrote back that we are looking for a boy, there is a long period to take him to Japan and are these conditions to be accepted…
If the answer is “YES” we would like to visit Belgium and hand carry him back to Japan.
And also wrote that I am a “BIG” fan of TEALC.
それからしばらくして、YouTubeで見つけたTEALCの映像にメッセージを書きました。
TEALCはショーと現役を引退してから、同じベルギーの素敵なご夫妻の元に引っ越していました。
そこの家族には、TEALCの姉妹が3頭居て彼はその中の唯一の男の子としてビデオに登場していました。
引退しても変わらず華麗で、可愛く、ビデオを眺めるだけでは飽き足りなくなってしまっていたのです。
TEALCの名前でメッセージに対する返信が来て、いつか会える日が来ればと返信しました。 それから、またしばらくしてからだったと思いますが、TEALCから意外なメッセージが来ました。
以前TEALCの人間の親がPajocoonsに遊びに行ったら、
「日本からTEALCの大ファンだという人からメールが来た」
という話題になったとのこと。
「ひょっとしてそれは、アナタのことでは？！」
こうして、TEALCとのやり取りも始まりました。
Later one day, I found the video of TEALC on youtube and sent a message to him.
At that time TEALC was already retired and has moved to his forever loving home in Belgium.
There he was living with his 3 sisters.
Even not attending the show, he was still beautiful and cute and I could not help writing a message to him.
He wrote me back and I replied I wish for a chance to meet him and his family some day in the future.
Few days later, again I received a message from him.
There he wrote that his human parents went to Pajocoons and heard about the big fan of his living in Japan.
“Is it you?”
“Yes! It is me!”
And our relationship started.
こんなやり取りを暫く続けているうちに、Pajocoonsでは、INDIの歳違いの弟、DYNAMITEがショーデビューしていました。
われわれは、DYNAMITEの次のリッターを待つ列に並びました。
先行して子猫の予約をしていたのは、Pajocoonsの親しいアメリカの友人とベルギーの友人。
どちらも男の子を待っており、われわれは三番目でした。
TEALC、INDIやDYNAMITEの母であるLAPD ANGIE of Pajocoonsが3頭もの男の子を産んでくれるだろうか・・・？
春が過ぎ、夏が過ぎ・・・10月の後半にANGIEは無事に子猫を出産したようでした。
ちょうどベルギーでPajocoonsのWimが主催するグラブのショーに日本からジャッジに行った方が帰国後
「Wimのところで子猫が生れた。 よろしくと言っていた」
と教えてくれました。
「何頭産まれたのだろう？ 男の子は何頭だろう？ 変わらず、日本に出してくれるのだろうか？」
不安いっぱい、期待少しの気持ちで急いでメールを出しました。
When things were moving like this, Pajocoons DYNAMITE made his debut.
DYNAMITE was the youngest brother of TEALC and INDI.
We decided to wait for the next litter of Angie and Johnny. Finally our name was on the waiting list.
Already 2 catteries’ names were on the list.
One from U.S. and from same Belgium, we were the third one.
Dose Angie delivers 3 boys at once?
Spring went by and summer passed and finally Angie delivered kittens.
This news was brought to me by one of the TICA Judge who attended the show in Belgium held by Wim.
“How many? How many boys? Is Pajocoons still OK to have one?”
Being so anxious and bit of expectations, I quickly sent out an email.
こうして足掛け3年の長き（？）にわたり思い続けて来たPajocoonsの男の子は、11月の終わりに無事にわが家の一員となりました。
PajocoonsのWimとMarie-Jean夫妻、Tealcのパパとママにはお礼の述べ様がないくらいです。
Sunnyの正式名は”Sunrise Dream"と言い、”日出ずる国の夢”を意味します。
名付け親は、TEALCの両親。キャッテリーのWimとMarie-Jeanと一緒に彼の成長を見守ってくれていたご夫婦でもあります。
Sunnyは今や、全く違和感無しにわが家に溶け込んでくれています。
5月に来日したCascade Mtn.のEinsteinとも良い関係を築いてくれて、うれしい限りです。
My 3 years has passed like this. And Pajoccon Sunrise Dream is now with us.
I rally thank Wim & Marie-Jean of Pajocoons and also Tealc's human parents Veerle and Patrick.
Sunny's formal name is "Sunrise Dream" which means "A dream of the country of the rising sun" . This was named by Veelre and Patrick.
Sunny is doing very well at our place, with Cascade Mtn. Einstein who came to Japan from US this May.
2012年を素晴らしい年にしてくれた両キャッテリーと関係者の方々に、心よりお礼申し上げます。
素晴らしいご縁を持たせていただき、本当にありがとうございました。
どうぞ、2013年も素晴らしい年になりますように。
We really thank both catteries letting us have the opportunity to have these 2 wonderful boys.
