ポポキラニ・ルーク、長いこと私たちと一緒にくらしてくれていましたが、とうとう本当の家族のもとにいくこととなりました。
生まれてから3年間われわれとともに大家族の中で暮らし、いよいよ旅立ちの季節を迎えました。
このまま、一生ずっと一緒にいるのもいいと思ってたので、新しいご縁に巡り会えたことに正直驚きを隠せません。
新しいご家族のもとには6歳になるアメリカン・ショートヘアの女の子がいるとのこと。
甘えん坊のルークにまた新たなお姉さんができます。
生後2ヶ月、一回目の予防注射の直前に風邪を引いて嗅覚がにぶくなり食べることが出来なくなってしまったこと。生後2ヶ月の小さな命が無事に育っていくのか不安で長いこと新しいご家族を捜す決心がつきませんでした。
風邪は、一ヶ月ほどで治り元気に育ってくれましたが、体調の悪かった時の心配と不安、そして幼い彼と何度も病院に通ったこと。
それらの思いでは、彼を私の中での特別な存在に変えていきました。
早いうちから人間と行動を共にしていたためか、わが家の中でも一番人間に近しい子となり、それは成長した今も変わりません。
ショーに参加したり、ブリードのグループに加わることはありませんでしたが、彼は私たちにとって最高のパートナーのひとりであり、最高のメインクーンでもあります。
そんな彼も、来月には新しいお家に引っ越します。
時間をかけていっぱい愛したこと、それだけは確かなものだと確信しています。

Luke finally found a forever loving home.
He was not a show/breeding type, but proud to say he is the very Maine Coon boy I love.
Took 3 years to meet the one we can really entrust his whole life.

Luke, when he was just almost 2 months old, caught a flew and lost his sense of smell. And for this he lost his feeling of hunger and start to loose his weight. This just happened just before his first injection.
About in a month, he recovered this situation but this experience left many feeling inside me and turned his existence as a really special one.
As he went to the vet many times with us, he became the very one who has strong relationship with humans.
He was not a show/breed type, but is the best partner and the best mainecoon to us!

I family, we did our best for him to beloved as a long life companion.
This is the only thing we can do but can say we did our best.
