クルーニー君になって新しいお家に引っ越しました。

昨年10月に生まれた、マリアのブラウンの男の子と、ドミノのブルーの男の子。

バタバタと日が経つうちに生後5ヶ月になりました。

Both were born in last Oct. The blue boy is form Domino and the brown boy is son of Maria. They are now 5 months old.

二匹だけで写っていると、もう大人のように見えるかもしれませんが、まだまだ育ち盛りの子猫たち。
ブルークラシックの子が、仮名エリオット。　ブラウンクラシックが、仮名アーノルド。
どちらもかなりのイケメン君達。

They look like an adult but still a kitten size. they are changeling themselves to become a real Gentle Giant! LOL
Blue boy is Elliot and the brown is Arnold.

コロナウィルスで、今年度(4月末）までのショーは全て中止となり、平和な時間を家の中で過ごしています。
エリオットはマイペース、アーノルドは人が大好きな子。

こんな時期ですが、素敵なご縁に恵まれればとも思っています。

We were planing to take them to TICA Shows but because of the COVID-19, they are having a peaceful time in our house.  Both Show available but only blue boy for breeding.

Hope to find a great home for them...

See you Charles! / チャールズの卒業

昨年2月に生まれて、なかなか赤い糸の先が見えなかったチャーちゃんことチャールズ。

猫神様には猫神様の計画があるらし…　きっとその計画はわが家に留まる事かもと思っていました。

そんなチャールズの毎日は、数週間後に生まれたKY太郎と遊ぶこと、そして、そのKY太郎ことデヴィッドお守役を努めることでした。

Charles was born on Feb. 2018.
He was a really sweet baby but looks like God had his own plan and his future forever loving family did not appear for a quite long time. So his every day life was to play with David and look after him. (David was a rascal and Charles was his guardian angel)

生後8ヶ月を過ぎて退屈そうにしているチャールズを見ながら、「そうだキャットショーを兼ねてチャールズとだけの時間を作ろう！」と計画を練り、その記念すべき第一回目を実行したのが11月の中旬でした。

大人になってからのショーのデビューは一泊二日の福岡でした。
そして、続いて12月にも飛行機に乗って再度福岡へ！

そんな折、猫神様はチャールズの赤い糸の先をみんなに伝えてくれました！
優しく、誠実に暮して来たチャールズの品行方正な生活ぶりを良く眺めていてくれたのだと思います。

12月に素敵なご縁を結ばせていただき、わが家でパパになってもらうつもりでいた彼は、新しいお家でパパになることとなりました。

引越しの予定は今年の1月中旬。めでたい日取りは決まったものの、チャールズのキャットショーで得たタイトルが確定されるかどうかでしばし気を揉みました。点数が足りなければもう一回何処かのショーに参加しなければと…（私の試算上では点数も足りているということだったのですが…orz)

ありがたいことに、点数もクリアしてチャールズはTICA QGCのタイトルを持って神奈川に婿入りしました。

Days quickly past by and it was already October. He looked boring and we decided to take hime to  the Cat Show. Overnight trip was the best for the main purpose was to let him have his own time with us. So we went to Fukuoka show, a 2.5 hour flight from Haneda, Tokyo Airport. We dit it twice and was a fun for us. And hope Charles also enjoyed the night at the hotel...

We were beginning to  think that his plan was to stay with us instead of moving... But Cat God finally showed his plan about Charles. Yes, he found his new home and addition to that, he is welcomed as a stud boy.

His moving plan was mid of this January. Only concern I had was did he got enough point to earn the title of TICA QGC... If he needs some more he needs to attend the show after his moving...  Was a big relief to know via internet that he had enough!  "Good by Shows!" for him :)   

初日、連れて行ったその時から、新しい家の探索を始めるほどの度胸と落ち着きぶり。

新しい家族は人間と猫だけではなくワンさんも！　ワンさん達の歓迎（？）の声に臆することなく、見事に溶け込んでいました。ご飯も速攻で食べてw
自然体で居られるチャールズ、ここは彼の新しい”わが家”になりました。

This is the very first day of him moving in.
As soon as we released him, he started to check all the rooms. New family has not only cats but also two dogs. First time to see dog for him but he was also OK with them. Ate someone's cat food too. Looked like nothing to worry about him. 

お嫁さん達とも数日のうちに仲が良くなったようで♪
（チャールズ小さく見えるかもしれませんが、しっかり大きい子ですw）

これで、チャールズ、イライザ、ガイヤ兄弟姉妹はみんなパパやママ予備軍となりました。

チャールズにはこれから先もちょくちょく会える距離なので、どんな男前に育っていくのか楽しみです。

After couple of days, he became friends with his future girlfriends too. From this photo, Charles may look a bit small but actually he is big enough, just his coat is not long enough to make him bigger.

Looking forward of him to become a great asset for his new family.

Satsuma's kittens now / さつまの子供達

8/22に生まれたさつまの4匹の娘たち、先日4ヶ月となりました。
（上の写真は、生後3ヶ月の頃のものです）

Satsuma's four girls born on 8/22 now became 4 months old.
(The above photo is about 3 months old)

ブラウンの仮名こいたすは、12月の初めに姉であるもいらが住む家に引っ越して行きました。新しい名前はアンジー。骨太なしっかりした女の子に成長しています。

Brown classic tabby girl moved to a family where her elder sister Moira lives. Now her new name is Angie. A very good boning she has and may participate in the shows from next year.

そして、華やかなトービーの仮名モヒカン。この子もアンジーと一緒のお家に引っ越しました。名前は”ミエル”。フランス語ではちみつを意味するそうです。

And the torbie girl now became Miel, which means "honey" in French. She moved together with Angie.

同じく華やかなトービーの仮名とびたす。正式名はドミノとなり、わが家に残ります。以前わが家で生まれて新しいご家族の元に引っ越して行った子達の面影があります。

Another flashy torbie girl, we named her Domino. She reminds me of Teo, Juno and some other girls whom we did not keep for ourselves. This may be the last chance to have this type of a girl for us. I am not so much sure of her quality but my instinct told me to keep her from the very early days. Will see how she grows...

 そして…　もうひとりのブラウンの女の子、仮名うすたす。
さんざん迷いましたが、わが家に残すことにしました。正式な名前はダイアナ。

And another brown girl. She may be the sweetest girl in this litter. I mean her personality is really like a puppy. She dashes in when ever I call her, talks a lot and... I found out that I was always looking for some kind of a reason to keep her...　And now her new name is Diana.

全員、12週の時の２回目のワクチンの時には女の子ながら2kg超え。さつまが、今までの子達と同じように愛情を注ぎ育てた子達です。さつまと同じように素晴らしい子に育つかどうかはわかりませんが、素晴らしい母親になってくれることができるのではと思います。来年は、この子たちが次の世代を牽引してくれればと思います。

All wear over 2kg at their second vaccination done at 12 weeks old. Enough big for girls. Some may become like their mom Satsuma. One thing that is sure Satsuma raised this litter with full care like the previous litter she had. Hope them to become a good mom next year.

Fairwell Mist! / Mist巣立って行きました！

10/6から８日にかけて台湾に行って来ました。

レイラとオスカーの子のミスト嬢を新しいお家にお届けするために。

予定では、成田から出発の午前の直行便で行くはずだったのですが、ミストの搭乗予約に手違いがあり、機体がペットを乗せられない仕様のものでした。

飛行機はチャイナ・エアー、JALとDeltaの共同運行便でカウンターで対応してくれたのはJALの方達。「もう日にちを再設定するしかないか…」とさえ思いましたが、午後便に空きを見つけてくださり予定を変更しての同日出発が可能となりました。JALの方達の対応に改めて感謝です。
合わせて成田の動物検疫所にも事情を説明して、便名変更による出国許可証の再作成をお願いしました。こちらも、親切・迅速な対応をいただきお礼申し上げます。
元の予約便では出国のための検疫が時間外となってしまうため、前日の金曜日に一回成田までミストと来て必要な検査手続きは終了して居たのですが…

（※教訓その１：ペットを連れて旅行をする際には、航空会社にペット搭乗の予約が受け付けられているかの再確認をするべし！）

で、変更となったこの便に乗って台湾の桃園空港についたのが夜の８時頃。

検疫も20分ほどで完了して、ミストと共に無事に台湾入りを果たすことができました。

初めての場所、初めての部屋で隠れて出て来なくなるか心配でしたが、大きな椅子に座って結構リラックスムードでした。多分、この椅子は彼女のこれからのお気に入りアイテムの一つになると思います。

夕食は、遅い時間となってしまったので、遅くまで空いている火鍋中心のレストランに連れて行ってもらいました。

日本でも火鍋はポピュラーなメニューになっているようですが、実は今まで食べてたことが無く…　お鍋二つで四種の味！牛肉、豚肉に海鮮と！贅沢な味を堪能させていただきました！

食事を終えて、またミストの新しいお家に戻りました。宿泊先はオーナーさんのご好意でホテルでは無く、オーナーさんのお家でということになっていましたので、二日間はミストと一緒に寝れる。そうすれば、知らない場所でも少しでも早く馴染めるだろうと…

部屋に戻るとベッドの影からこっそり顔を覗かせていました。
私の顔を見ると、尻尾を高々と上げてお出迎えしてくれました、わが家にいた時と同じ光景です。

新しい爪研ぎの上で遊んだり、おもちゃを追いかけてみたり。表情に緊張感は見えましたが、それでも遊ぶ気になれるだけの余裕も持ち合わせていたようです。

台湾の二日目は、午後から観光とグルメツアーに。ミストは前夜は食事を摂らなかったのでまだ空腹感を強く感じるほどまでは気持ちにゆとりが無いのだろうと思いつつ外出。新しいママが、家でお留守番してミストの様子もみてくれることになったので、心配するのは辞めて新しいパパさんと通訳の方とで台北市内に行って来ました。

小籠包の名店やスイーツのお店…　もうフォアグラ状態！w

埼玉の留守宅も気になるけれど、とにかくミストが新しい環境にうまく溶け込めるように訪れた台湾。なにはともあれ体力勝負の時。食べれば、気持ちも安定するかも…(体重は、安定の増加です…間違いなくw）

それから、台湾にきたもう一つの目的である、ドリーマーにも会えました！
2015年の12月に生後4ヶ月で巣立って行ったドリーマー。今や11kgを超える巨漢となり、父親にもなっていました。
彼の名誉のために一言：抱っこさせてもらいましたが、デブではなかったです♪
さすが、さつまの子にして、アインの孫。骨太で、筋肉質なのは代々の家系のおかげのようです。
もう中年の域に達している年齢のような気がしていたのですが、まだ３歳！
きっと、まだまだパパになると思います。元気で自由に暮らしている姿を見るのは嬉しい限り。さすがに、私のことは覚えていませんでしたが…

お引越しから早2週間。ミストにも新しい友達ができたようです。
言葉のイントネーションが違うので、まだきっと意味不明な部分はあるとは思いますが、次回会う時には私のことは忘れていると思います。正直、忘れられると言うのは寂しいのですが、それは新しい環境に慣れてと言う証でもあるわけで…

人間の側は、やはり忘れると言うことはなさそうです。
困ったことに、母猫のレイラの事を”ミスト”とたまに呼んでしまう自分が居て…
新しいお家が決まって居ても、通常より長くわが家で待機してもらうと、お別れの切なさも半端では無いですね。　海外のブリーダーさん達が日本の検疫条件のために、生後10ヶ月ほどになるまで預かることを渋るのも、今更ながらよくわかりました。

とにかく、ミストは新たなスタートを無事に切ることができました。

新しい、パパ、ママ、それから現地でずっと通訳をしてくださった通訳さん。本当にお世話になりました。

Satsuma's last litter / さつまとアルフレッドの最後の子供達

8/22にさつまの子供達が4匹生まれました。
今回は全員女の子。ブラウン×２とブラウントービー×2。全員元気に育って無事に1ヶ月をすぎました。

On Aug. 22nd, Satsuma delivered her last babies. Proud father is again Alfred. All are girls, 2 brown classic and 2 brown torbies.
They are now a month old.

こちらが、頭の天辺に一筋赤が入っている仮名モヒカンちゃん。
もうすでに気の強さの片鱗が見えているような…

This is "Mohican". She has a red blushed line on the top of her head and also has some cream colors on her paws. As a torbie, she already looks like having a very strong character... LOL

こちらの左側がブラウンちゃん＃1。何にでも挑戦するチャレンジャー。勝手にママのご飯を食べ始めています。

This is Ms. Brown #1. She is a challenger and already eating her mom's food. Has a very strong chin and muzzle.

もうひとりのトービーちゃん。鼻筋に赤系の色が入っています。

爪とぎの上に乗っている写真は寝起きなので、ちょっと渋目の表情w

Another torbie girl. Has a cream colored blaze. She just woke up while I was taking the photos so looks a bit sleepy.

最後がブラウン＃2ちゃん。
今のところ一番女の子らしい顔をしています。

Last is the brown #2.
Right now she has the very girly look. Big eyes with soft looks.

こちらはさつまママと子供達の写真。
生後18日の頃のものです。

This is proud mama Satsuma and her babies when they were about 18 days old.

さつまはこれが5回目の出産。10月の終わりには6歳になりますので、この子たちを育て上げたら現役を引退します。合わせてパパのアルフレッドも現役引退予定です。アルフレッドにもいっぱいパパになってもらいました。
あとの猫生はふたりともにゆったりした時間を過ごしてもらえればと思っています。
大きい病気もせずに、元気でいてくれること、これが一番の幸せ。
子育てももう一踏ん張り！　ありがとう、さつま、ありがとうアルフレッド。

Satsuma delivered totally 5 litters. At the end of next month she is going to be 6 years old. She was one of the best mom in our cattery but it is time for her to enjoy her own life. She produced many wonderful kittens with Alfred and Jake.
Our proud queen Satsuma and Alfred are going to retire from the breeding program.
They both did not like the Cat Show but brought many happiness to us and the families who welcomed their kittens. A little more to go for Satsuma and then she can live her life 100% free with Alfred and others.

The members that left our home this Summer! / 夏に巣立って言った子供達

今年の2月から4月にかけて、出産ラッシュでした。

総勢17頭の新しい命が誕生して…　ちょうど仕事が一段落していたのが幸いでした。

バタバタとドキドキの連続の中、17頭の子供達は誰も病気をせず、無事に3ヶ月を超えました。

振り返ればあっという間で、５月からは旅立ちの季節となりました。

ここにご紹介する11頭は、みんな幸せの片道切符を握りしめてわが家を後にしました。

残る6頭のうち、2頭は今年の秋以降に新しいお家に引越し予定です。そして、2頭はわが家に残ります。

あんなに賑やかだった毎日が、11頭いなくなって…　なぜか同じように毎日賑やかですw、なぜだろうw

生まれてから育っていくのを見守っていてくださった方々に、改めてお礼申し上げます。
母親5匹は、全員が素晴らしいママ達でした。初産いれば、経産婦もいる。でもベテランは居らず、わが家では珍しくルーム・シェア。そんな環境の中、母親同士喧嘩することもなく、平和な環境を維持して子育てに取り組んでくれたことに感謝。
お陰様で、どの子も腕白で、猫も人間も大好きな子に育ちました。

前文が長くなってしまいましたが、巣立った顔ぶれをご紹介したいと思います。

From this years Feb. to April, we welcomed total 17 new babies!
Yes, it was a mess but just was lucky for I was able to stay and help all 5 mothers.
Was  like riding a jet-coaster, being excited to watch the delivery and the next moment becoming anxious and praying for the new borns. And now they all grew up with no health issue.
And as usual, time flies... From May, some started to move to their new family.

Today we would like to introduce the 11 kittens who all moved with bright and promised future. Well, yes... we still have 6 more kittens left.  2 are to move to their new home later and 2 are to stay with us.

Our house is now more silent then before... No! it is still busty!  Don't ask me why. LOL

We really would like to thank all of you for watching their growth. 5 mothers were all super mom. They did not have their own private rooms but had to share the room with other moms but no one fought or claimed about it. We really thank about it too. So as a matter of fact, kittens sometimes shared other's mom and grew up to become cats/human lover!

新潟のブリーダーさんのお家に引っ越しました。また、ショーで会えると思います。
どんなお嬢さんになっていくのか、とっても楽しみです♪

Dorothy's Brown Classic Torbie girl Sala:
She moved to a MC cattery in Nigata. So we hope to see her at the Cat Show. Looking forward to meet lady Sala in the near future!

ドロシーの娘、ブルー・クラシック・トービーの日向（ひなた）ちゃん：

関東にあるお家にお引越し。先住のメインクーンのお兄さんたちの妹分となりました。毎日”かわいい♪”の声のもと、自由気ままに暮らして居るようです♪
目尻に赤い色がアイラインのように入っていて、子猫ながら妖艶な雰囲気を持っています。

Dorothy's Blue Classic Torbie girl Hinata:
She moved to the family living in Kanto area. She was welcomed by 2 elder MC boys (neutered)  and easily became their young sister.
Hinata has red thin eye lines on both of her eyes and those makes her look very fascinating. 

アイリスの息子、レッド・クラシック・タビーのガイア君：

新潟のブリーダーさんのお家に、サラちゃんと一緒にお引越ししました。
先に住んでいるガイア君や、メープルちゃんにあまりちょっかいかけてなければいいのだけれど…w

Iris's Red Classic boy Gaia:

He also moved to Nigata with Sala. Their lives our Zeus and Maple. So with Sala he will enjoy his new life there. The wildest boy he was in the litter and I just hope him not to be a gangster... LOL

ジェシカの娘、マカナちゃん（仮名チョビ）：
広島の杏姫（アンジュ）が住むお家に引っ越しました。
お引越し後に広島や九州地方等で未曾有の水害がありましたが、お家の方はとりあえず大丈夫だったようです。が、ライフラインの方が大変だったと思います。

改めて、水害等で被災なされた方々の一刻も早い復興を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Jessica's Black & White girl Makana (aka Chobi):
He moved to Hiroshima where our girl Ange lives. They were also attacked by the heavy rain and the unprecedented flood but luckily their home was safe.

Here again we would like to send our prayers and deepest condolences who met this disaster.

レイラの娘、ブラウン・クラシック・トービーのプリンセス・スキッツル：
青森から新幹線に乗ってママが迎えに来てくれました。先住猫さんは、ベンガルのお姉さん。そのお姉さんが呆れるほどお転婆のようです。（カナダに行ったTeoを思い出すほど、よく似ています)
命名は、幼稚園に通うお嬢さんだそうです♪

Layla's Brown Classic Torbie girl Princess Skittle:
Skittle's new mom came by Shinkan-sen (Bullet train) from Aomori. They have elder Bengal girl at their home so Skittle will have a chance to learn how to act like a lady. LOL She really reminded me Teo who moved to CoonAmor where Layla came from...
Princess Skittle was named by her young human sister :)

レイラの娘、ブラウン・クラシック・タビーのハウメアちゃん(ハワイの女神様の名前だそうです）:

ハウメアちゃんは都内のお家に引っ越して行きました。新しいパパとママは、私の息子より若い！きっと毎日飽きることなく相手をしてもらっていると思います♪

Layla's Brown Classic Tabby girl Haumea (Hawaiian Goodness's name):
Haumea moved to the family living in Tokyo. Her now mom and dad are younger than my son! Sure she will have more fun living with younger generation!

レイラの娘、ブルー・クラシック・トービーの雛ちゃん（ハーフ＆ハーフ）：
雛ちゃんは鎌倉にお引越し。新しいお家にお届けに行ったのですが、その日から自分の生家のような大胆な振る舞いw　すでにいっぱい居るおばさまやお姉様方をアゴで使って居るとか…（冗談ですw）

Layla's Brown Classic Torbie girl Hina (aka Half & Half)
Hina moved to Kamakura. From the very first days she moved, she easily found her own nanny (elder MC girl) and living like a princess. Life must be really a fun for her!

マリアの娘ブラウン・クラシック・タビーのエルモちゃん：

エルモちゃんも神奈川に。同じような顔の先住猫さん達ばかりなので、誰も違和感を持たず。エルモちゃんだけ、数日”ふー！”、”しゃー！”言っていたそうですw（ちびっこの火炎放射器は誰も怖がらないw）

Maria's Brown Classic Torbie girl Elmo:

Elmo also move to Kanagawa. There lives MC girls whom look like her so she easily melted into the new family. Only she was hissing at the others as new face does. Well I am sure no one would get afraid of baby hissing! LOL

マリアの息子ブルー・ソリッドのポセイドンIII世君 （仮名しゅん、後ろの子です）：
ポセイドン君は日向ちゃんが住むお家に引っ越して行きました。ブルー・ソリッドの大柄な子で、末が楽しみです♪　骨太さはパパのオスカーに似たのだと思います。

Maria's Blue Solid boy Poseidon III (aka Shun)  :
Poseidon the 3rd moved to where Hinata lives. He is a handsome guy with very deep Blue coat. He has big paws and think he will become huge!  Blue solid is quite hard to imagine how they will become... ope him to become the real gentle giant like his father.

レイラの娘のブルー・ソリッドの仮名あおたん：
新しいお家が先ほど決まりました。
ポセイドンIII世君と並ぶと、少し柔らかめの青色なのですが、ひとりでいるところを見ていると結構濃い青色。ソリッドは独特の色合いなので、大人になったらどんな風になるのか今から楽しみです。

She found her new home just his afternoon!
Comparing to Poseidon III, her coat seems to be lighter but her's is also deep enough. I really loveBlue, especially Solids, so I also can not wait to see how she will become in the future!

そして、一緒にご縁を結んでいただいたのが、少し大柄な仮名しまちゃん。

And with aka Aotan, this girl also got her one way ticket to the happiness!

この子は行動派なのか、よく男の子とプロレスをしてどったん、バッタンしています。

新しいママはずっとブルー系を探していたとのことで、このふたりとのご縁を持っていただきました。

Layla's Blue Classic Tabby (or Torbie may be...) girl (aka Shima):
She is really a tomboy! LOL Loves the wrestling and always running and hunting somebody. Their new mom was looking for the blue MC for quite long and now they met what she was looking for.
