Ms. Little Typhoon Part 3 / 台風ガールこかげちゃん Part 3

 

またまた気が付けば二ヶ月以上更新をサボっていました^^;

5月、6月、７月とぽつぽつとショーに参加したりして、年相応に元気にはしていましたが、何をするにも「よっこらしょ…」の掛け声が必要になっている今日この頃。休みの日は基本的には”行事は１日につき一つ”などと超個人的なルールを決めていたら日々があっという間に過ぎていました。

そんな中、こかげちゃんのお家から彼女の元気なお便りが届きました。

6月に元気に2歳を迎えた姿を、またもやわが家だけで一ヶ月以上抱え込んでしまっておりました。

2歳になったこかげちゃん、パパのジェイク氏にも良く似てきました！　ハンサム女子、どうやら子分さんが出来て相変わらずの台風ガールぶりのようですw

Again, already 2 months has passed. We are doing fine but every things needs to take time and more energy now days, I think this is what is called "getting old". We were participating some TICA shows and for weekdays, we still are working...  Well this is just an excuse not updating our website... 

Kokage's family sent us a wonderful photos and letters about her now days. Yes she is doing fine and enjoying her life with her new younger brother. She became 2 years old on this June and now looks like more to her dad Jake! She is turning to a handsome lady!

こかげちゃん（イギーちゃん）をお迎えさせていただいた、Fです。

こかげちゃん、先月2歳になりました。
毎日大変元気に暴れています。

体重は5.6kg、長く柔らかく密度が高いすばらしい被毛です。太陽を浴びると、金色の麦畑のように輝いています。毎日コーミングをしないとすぐに毛玉になってしまいます。

食欲・排せつ・元気、すべて大変健康です。

食欲旺盛で、ドライフード（ロイヤルカナン　フィット、セイバーエクシジェント）、ウェットフード（国産またはグレインフリー各種）をもりもりと食べています。ウェットフードは他の子のものをよく横取りしています。横からお皿に手を入れてすくい、器用に食べていて感心します。

縁あって、昨年12月にこかげちゃんより1歳下のターキッシュバンの男の子をお迎えしました。

こかげちゃんはあっという間に彼に上下関係と猫社会のしきたりを体で教え、すっかり手下にしてしまいました。彼はいつもこかげちゃんの後ろを追いかけています。

Hi, this is F, Kokage's (aka Iggy) mom.
Kokage became 2 years old last month. 
She is having fun with high tension everyday.

Now she weighs 5.6kg, her coat is long and soft and is really gorgeous. Under the sun, it looks gold and is shining just like the wheat field. So everyday combing is a must or it will easily be matted.

Eating, excretion, energy... every things are really fine.
Loves to eat dry food and wet food. And about wet food, she sneaks other members. by using her hands. It is really amazing to see her use her hands so naturally.

Last Dec. we welcomed a Turkish Van boy, a year younger than Kokage. She taught him the hierarchy and the rules of the Feline World, she taught those by her body (* think fist and kicks...) and easily made him obey her as his boss. Now he is always following her!  

戦いごっごが大好きです。
動画がないのが残念ですが、こかげちゃんはフライングボディアタックが得意なようで、油断して寝ている他の猫たちに、たびたびかましております。

朝はいつも他の猫たちと本気の追いかけっこをしています。
寝ている私たちをまったく気にせず踏みつけ疾走している姿は、野生のチーターのようです。

Kokag's favorite seems to be fighting games.  
Sorry not having any video, her best is "Flying Body Attack" and doing that and disturbing other member's "Beauty Sleep".

In the morning times, she is doing the tag game (chase and run) She does not care about sleeping humans, just run over us and really looks like Cheetah. 

夜は「るぅっるぅっ」と鳴きながら私たちの布団に入ってきます。揉んだり舐めたりすると、飽きてすぐに遊びに行ってしまいます。

「こかげちゃん」と呼ぶと「キュルルキュルル」とかわいくお返事しながら走ってきます。
先住猫たちとも、とても仲良しです。フレンドリーで物おじしない性格が、みんなに受け入れられているようです。
最近、内弁慶になってきたようで、お客様が来ると隠れてしまいます。少し大人になってきたのでしょうか。 

こんなにかわいい子をお迎えさせていただき、本当にありがとうございます。こかげちゃんと一緒で、とても幸せな毎日を過ごしております。

In the night time, she comes to our bed talking " Ruuru, Rurru" and makes some biscuits and /or sniffs/licks the covers and when she is finished she goes away.

When we call her name, she comes running towards us with her sweet answer "Ururuu, uruuu".
She is really friendly to other members. I think her sweet and gentle and a heart with no fear really attracting the others.
As she grew up, may be she became a bit timid. She hides whenever we have guest to our house.

We are really happy having her as out family member. We all are having a happy day together.
 

お転婆お嬢さんぶりは2歳になっても変わらないようです。こかげちゃんは、わが家にいた時からいつも何でも楽しい事にしてしまう天分があったと思います。 金色の台風の目、ガールからレディになっても健在！ 新しい一年も幸せのつむじ風が吹き荒れそうです！

Tomboy girl is still on her way. She was like this when she was with us and I think this is a great gift she got, a talent to make every issue to fun things. Golden typhoon girl, be as you even you are tuning to a lady from a girl!

Good luck Mr. Laurence / クキの巣立ち

クキこと正式名ローレンス、本日わが家遠巣立ちました。

すらっとした筋肉質のボディに、大きな耳、大きな目、そして長いシッポ。10年ぶりに生まれた黒猫団のひとり。

猫にとってはどうでも良いことではありますが、キャットショーにも堂々とさんかできると思える美男子さんです。が、シッポの途中が“クキ”となっていて、ショーに参加させることは諦めた子でもあります。

Aka Kuki, TICA registered name “Laurence” moved to his forever loving home this afternoon.

He is a very handsome guy, nice boning long and substantial body, beautiful tail and has a beautiful eyes. Yes to our eyes, he is a kind of show cat. But unfortunately his tail was kinked. It does nothing to do with his health but for so we did not have a chance to show him. May be was good for him that he could escape from the grooming session.

クキと言う幼名はこのシッポの状態が由来です。
ハンサムだけど、ひょうきんで、猫や人間の心の中にスッと入り込んで来る子です。

新しいお家は、ハーブ🌿の家族の所。　まだ２歳と若く（明日がが2歳のお誕生日）、遊ぶことにも全力投球できる年頃。同じ2歳のノルウェージャンの男の子は、仲良くさせていただいているブリーダーさん出身の男の子。偶然といえどもやはり世の中狭いようです。

獣医さんに行く以外、出かけたことのないクキは、道中のキャリーの中で可哀想によだれダラダラで。　移動慣れしていない分辛かったと思いますが、新しい環境にはすぐに慣れてくれるかと思います。

新しいご家族が見つかるまでの2年、彼にとって長かったのか、短かったのか…

Kuki has seemlier meaning like “snap”. When he was born, 4 of three was black solid and because of his tail it was really to find out him.

He is a really easygoing type boy and really easily gets in to one’s heart. Also very unique and charming. 

His new family is the one whom are living with our Herb and a Norwegian boy who came from my friend’s cattery. 

Laurence was really an indoor cat. His traveling experience was only a couple times of visiting the vet. So today was his first long drive. I think it was a tough time. He was drooling all the way…  Was so sorry about that.

Almost it took 2 years to wet his new own family. We really enjoyed his growth those years. Hope him also feeling the same.

昨日、お引越しが決まってから撮ったクキ中心の写真。

黒い兄貴が改めて”良い男"だなとひとり感慨に耽ってしまいました。

産婆バカな目線ではありますが、彼の周りに寄り添う子猫たちの顔が安心と信頼に満ちているように見えてしまいます。

The photos are the ones I took yesterday after the visit of his new family. Watching these I really felt this big black boy is the one that is adored by the kittens. 

他のオトナ猫の一部みたいに教育的指導（？）とかの名目でペシペシしたりしないし、気が向けば本気で遊んでくれるし、ということなのでしょうか？

そう言えばわが家でKY王子と言われているロイドに説教や文句をたれている姿も見たことが無かった！（うざいと思ったら近寄らないようにしていただけかもしれませんがw）

真っ黒だからわかりにくいけど、大きな目のハンサムな黒騎士は本日無事に巣立ちました。

このままわが家に居座り続けるのかと思っていましたが、縁とは不思議なもの。
元気で素敵な猫生を過ごしてね。

あいしてるよ、今までもこれからも。

He never slaps the kittens like some other ones.

Plays with them (when ever he is in the mood) a lot.

He ha big eyes which is not so easy to see because he is black.  Best to the Black Knight of ours! Your new chapter has just begun.

Mr. "O" found his forever home! / オーちゃんのお引越し

苦みばしった顔の一枚w

この子は、オリビアとデュークの息子の仮名オーちゃんです。

9/11に新しいご家族がお迎えに来てくださり、無事に巣立って行きました。

初めにお声がけいただいた時には黒い子とのご希望でしたが、やはり会って見なければわからないものですね。家族代表でいらして下さったお姉様のハートを見事に撃ち抜いたのはオーちゃんでした♪

メインクーンでは、基本の色はこのブラック(ブラウン)タビーと言われているのですが、最近は赤系とか青系が好きと言う方が増えているような気がしていました。今回は、オリビアの子供達4頭と、オクタビアの子達3頭のあわせて7頭のうち5頭がブラック。その中で縞模様がある子は逆に新鮮だったのかもしれません。

一番初めに巣立って行ったので、残念ながら写真は他の子達ほど多くはありません。みんなでお団子になって遊ぶこともまだ少なめだったから集合写真も少なくて...

それでもママの所に集合している姿や、奇跡のツーショット（動きが速すぎてブレブレの写真が多い頃）が手元にあります。

どれもついこないだの様な、もうかなり前の様な... 写真を撮っておいて良かったと思う瞬間を何度でも味あわせてくれます。

ママは小柄な方だけど、みんなパパのデュークに似たのか大きめの子達です。

巣立ちから早2ヶ月ちょっと。今やかなりカッコ良くなっているのでは無いかと思います。

＜お待たせしました！（？）こっちゃんの記事第二弾です＞

Now 12 days has passed since Kokage (aka Iggy) has moved…

お引越しして12日目のこかげちゃんの近況をママさんに頂きました。

実はこのお便りを読んで、こかげちゃんの記事のタイトルが自分の中で決まりましたw
やりたい放題の国のお姫様になっている（？）様子が目に浮かび、ひとりでニヤニヤしていましたw 出会いに改めて感謝する瞬間ですね！

Reading the email from Kokage’s new mom, I decided to change the title of this post. Our little princess is now turned into “free-for-all” or “born to be wild” character!

こかげちゃんは、すばらしいスピードで我が家になじんでおります。
お迎えした当日夜は、念のためケージで過ごしていただきましたが、翌早朝に「ケージはもういやだ」と大暴れをして、ケージ生活を終了しました。

Kokage is fitting into our house/family so rapidly. 

The very first night I put into a cage for quarantine but next morning she won the freedom. One night stay was the max for her. 

先住猫たちのシャー攻撃を受けつつも、ひるまず我が道を行く姿に先住猫もあきらめたのか、「遊びたい。でもシャーもしたい。」と葛藤していた一番年齢が近い3歳の女の子が一緒に遊び始めました。
その後は、あれよあれよという間に、一番年長のもうすぐ11歳の男の子が遊びに参戦。

Receiving the hot hiss from the elders, she was going her own way. Nothing stopped her, even the hot hiss could not! 

Our other members (elder cats) looked like…

“ need to teach who we are but… playing with her will be a lots of fun…” our 3 years old girl was suffering from that dilemma and started to play with Kokage.

気難しい9歳の女の子はシャーをしつつも気が付けば一緒に寝たり、お母さんと間違われたかのようにお腹に頭をうずめられたりしても「シャー」は言いつつ拒否はせず、そのまま寝たりしております。

Fussy 9 years old girl was still hissing but she was given a role as a nanny. Started to sleep with Kokage and some times the little one snuggled her nose to the elder’s breast. 9 years old girl sometimes became a new mom! Still keep on hissing she also agreed to take Kokage on her side.

4～5日目からそのような状態で、3歳の女の子と11歳の男の子と三つ巴になって転げまわっています。

Above happened from day four or five and now 3 years old girl, 11 years old boy and Kokage are playing like a tumbling weed.

よく食べ、健康な排せつをし、ものすごい勢いで走り回っています。
フードはロイヤルカナンのメインクーンが好きなようで、チャレンジしていますが粒が大きく固いので噛めないため、まわりだけ噛んであきらめてしまいます。
キトン→メインクーン→セイバーエクシジェント、とフードを三角食べしています。

おもちゃも大好きで、ボールをくわえてあちこちの部屋に移動しては遊びまくっています。

一番好きなのは、やはり、いただいたピンクのバネのおもちゃです。
すぐになくしてしまい、「あそこの下に入っちゃったから、取って」と何度も言ってくるのがまたかわいらしいです。

She loves to eat, does nice poops and running around like a lacing machine.

Loves to play with toys, carrying a ball from room to room and enjoying the day.

But the toy she loves seems to be that pink coil one. She looses so often and comes to me saying “my coil toy tumbled in their… would you help me?” So sweet to see her telling me that.

最近の写真を貼付にてお送りします。
夫のお腹で寝ている写真（下の写真）です。夫がソファでうたたねをしていたら、お腹にちょこんと乗ってしまったそうです。 

Attached please find som photos of hers. One is her sitting on my husband’s tummy. She just got there when he was having a nap.

すばらしく元気に毎日成長しています。
抱っこをすると、すぐにごろごろ鳴いて眠ってしまいます。
こかげちゃんのおかげで、先住猫も私たちも楽しく刺激をいただいています。

She is glowing very healthy everyday. And easily fall in a sleep with a big purrrrrr when ever I pick her up. Having her as a mew member, we humans and our elder cats are having a very thrilling and fun life.

11歳になっている子まで、子猫と一緒に遊んでいることには、びっくりしました。わが家の10歳超えの子達は、ご隠居さんの様な生活パターンなのに、これは凄い！9歳の気むずかしいマダムまで、手なずけて（？）しまうとは。やっぱり、こかげちゃん、どっか不思議な子なのかもしれません... 唯一の女の子だからだったのかもしれませんが、わが家にいた時も、もの凄く気持ちを惹かれる子でしたから。特別何か要求をしてくるとか、猫一倍わがままとか、そういうのでは無く、存在自体がなんと言えば良いのか輝きを放っていた感じです。

To me it was a quite big surprise to hear that 11 years old cat playing with 4 months old kitten. Our cats whom are same age doesn’t. It’s a wow thing to me! And also melted 9 years old fussy madam’s heart and asked her to be her own nanny… she must have some kind of talent or charm… and so this is Kokage (aka Iggy)!

「もし、イギーを迎えたいと思う方がいらしたら、是非彼女を口説きにいらしてください！　我こそは！と言うツワモノ様、お待ちしております！」

10月10日にアップした記事に書きましたが、彼女のハートを射止めるのは中々手強そうでしたw あの記事からそんなに時間が経たずに出会いが実現しました。（正直、縁がないままわが家にい続けるのではと思っていたぐらいです）

母猫のアイリス、こかげちゃんに何を教えたのでしょうか？　一度聞いてみたいものですw 不思議な魅力120％のこかげちゃん、どんなレディに育っていくのかこれから楽しみです。

願わくば、その魅力をおばあちゃんになっても持ち続けていますように♪

I really wonder what did Iris taught to her only daughter. Did she taught some secret spells how to attract others? Well this must be the secret that only they can share. I was thinking that she may never find her loving home. If she can’t it means she is meant to stay with USA during that should be fun. But now I think she knew when and where it will happen. Yes she found the best!  Now I just hope her sweet character to last forever!

Ms. Little Typhoon Part 1 / 台風ガールこかげちゃん Part 1

イギーは10/30に”こかげ”ちゃんと言う素敵な名前をもらって巣立って行きました。

生まれてから5ヶ月近くをわが家で過ごしてからの素敵な巣立ちとなりました。
その間に、写真家の山崎夫妻のスタジオにお邪魔してよそ行きの写真を撮ってもらったり、はるばる長野まで遠征してキャットショーにも参加しました。

われわれに素敵な思い出を残して、イギーはこっちゃんになりました。

お引越しした当日の様子を、ママさんがメールで知らせてくださいました。
嬉しいお便りです♪

Aka Iggy graduated our home on Oct.30th with her new name "Kokage" (Kokage means "Shade of tree)

She was with us for almost 5 months long. We took her to Tetsu and Hiroko Yamazaki's photo studio with her litter mates for the Pro Shot and had fun attending the TICA & ECC Cat Show held in Ueda, Nagano pref. 

And the girl became Kokage and left us with plenty of memories behind to remember for us.

Her new mom sent an email and some photos on the very day she moved. Let me share it with you all.

本日はありがとうございました。
13時過ぎに無事に自宅に到着しました。

車の中では、最初、小さな声で少し鳴いたり落ち着かない様子でしたがすぐに丸くなって目を閉じ、とても良い子に自宅まで来てくれました。

帰宅後すぐにケージに入ってもらうと、少しきょろきょろした後すぐにくつろいだように体を横にして、目を細めていました。

Thank you for today's visit.
We just got back around at 13:00.

She was first crying a bit with small voice and looked a bit uncomfortable but soon curled up and closed her eyes. She was a good girl during the drive.

We put her in the cage after we got back. She was checking some things and soon started to relax and laid down closing her eyes, 

1時間ほどすると「出たい」とキュルキュル甘えた声を出したので
ケージのドアを開けておくと自分から出てきて探検を始めました。
途中、いただいたピンクのバネのおもちゃで遊んだりしながらどんどん探検を進めて活発に動いていました。

About an hour later, she started to say "Let me out" with a purr voice. So, I opened the door of the cage and she came out and started to explore.
She was playing with her pink coil toy also, the one that you gave to her, and kept her going on and on.  

そして、私の足に体をすりすりして、ごろんと転がったり、ひざに乗ってきたりしてくれました。
抱っこをして体をなでると、大きな声でゴロゴロ言ってくれます。

And she came to me and rubbed her body to my leg again and again, did the tummy-up or even came up to my knee.
I hold her up and rubbed her and she answered me with her big purrrrrrr.

そして、私のPCデスクの上に乗り、キーボードの横で寝てしまいました。
今はプリンターの上で寝ています。

適応力の高さと早さに、とても驚いています。
とても頭の良い猫さんですね。
もう、かわいくてかわいくてたまりません。

明日は、いただいた白いトンネルのおもちゃを設置して見せてみようかと思っています。

今日のこっちゃんの様子の写真を4枚添付します。
様子がうまく伝わると良いのですが。

先住猫はシャーシャー言いまくっていますが、先住ファーストで抱っこをしたりたくさんなでたり、話しかけたりして気持ちがやわらぐように気を配っています。

このたびは本当に良いご縁をいただき、遠藤様には感謝の言葉しかありません。
そして、おもちゃと写真、ロゼットをありがとうございました。
立派なロゼット、とてもきれいでデスク横に飾りました。
そして、写真を入れる額を、ネットで今探しております。
やはり、生の写真はとてもきれいです。

本当にありがとうございました。
今後とも、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

And the she got on my working desk and started to sleep beside the keyboard. Now she is sleeping on the printer.

It's such a surprise of her having such a capacity. She is really a smart girl. She is so dear.

I am thinking to give her the toy tunnel tomorrow, the one you gave to her.

The other cats are now hissing and I am doing the "Elder first". Holding and talking to them so they can feel they are not mistreated. Hope them to calm down and fell there is no need to be aware with the new girl.

And thank you for the toys, photo (taken by Hiroko and Tetsu) and the wining rosetta (Iggy got one 5th best kittens at the show) . I hang it beside my desk, it is beautiful.

子猫の持つ順応性の高さには、時として本当に驚かされます。兄弟の中では唯一の女の子だったせいか、少し慎重な所のあったこっちゃんが、こんなに伸び伸びとすぐに馴染んでくれるとは。(兄弟の赤猫3にん組が傍若無人と言うのもありますがw）

これも、ママのアイリスが全身全霊込めて育ててくれたおかげですね。
こっちゃんがお引越しの時に持って行ったピンクのバネのおもちゃは、きっと彼女のセキュリティー・ブランケットなのでしょうね。そしてそのうちにバネのおもちゃがなくても先住のみんなと上手に遊べるようになるのだと思います。

F家の皆様、こかげちゃんをどうぞよろしくお願いします。
この可愛くて不思議な台風の目のような女の子と縁を持っていただけた事、改めて御礼申し上げます。

It is sometimes a big surprise to see and know the capacity/capability of a kitten. Kokage was the only girl of the litter and maybe as usual, she was a bit timid type comparing to her brothers. (but also as a matter of fact, her brothers are all red and they are really hyper guys! LOL) We are so glad to know that she started her new life with such a soft landing. 

All the credit of her must go to Kokage's mom Iris. She gave all that she can give to her little ones. 

And it looks like the pink coil toy did it's job very well. I think it is a security blanket for Kokage. Soon she will not need it any more.

Farewell Silas / サイラスの旅立ち

 

オリビアの黒い男の子のひとり、サイラス君と言う素敵な名前をつけてもらって、８月の終わりにわが家から巣立って行きました。

オリビアの子供達の中でも一番大きく、顔は子猫というより大人びていて。ソリッドは模様がない分余計にごっつく見える気がするのはわたしだけでしょうか？

One of Olivia's black solid boy has moved to his loving home on end of August. His official name is now Silas.

He was biggest of the litter and his face looked like an adult at his age. He was only about 4 months old at that time. Mya be it was because he had no tabby? To me, solid often looks more mature than it's own age. 

新しいお家が見つかるまでは、ショーが始まったら一緒に参加しようかなどと夢想していました。が、以前からメインクーンを迎えたいとおっしゃってくださっていたご家族から再度連絡があり、サイラスのご縁は強固なものとなりました。

スケジュール調整もとんとん拍子に進み、プロの写真撮影をする前にわが家を卒業して行きました。

Was thinking we can go to a show (if there is any) till he finds his own home. But we received a 2nd message 6 months later from a family whom were planing  to have a mainecoon.  Silas's fate was now fixed. All the schedule were fixed quickly and he left us without have a photo session with Tetsu and Hiroko.

このベッドはどうやら彼専用のようです♪

先住さんは猫さんではなくワンお姉様。おまけに年齢も10歳を超えているだけではなく、体も大きい。

わが家では腕白でならした黒い弾丸サイラス氏、少しはおとなしくなるのでしょうか？

Above photo is the one after Silas moved. Looks very comfortable and happy. Little Mr. Gentle Giant!

His roommate is not a cat but a dog. She is a big type and also more than 10 years old. So this bed must be his own. His dog sister is too big to fit into this cozy bed. 
Hope Silas to learn many things from her especially how to become a gentleman! LOL 

こちらは、ファミリーが後日送ってきてくださった写真。

やはり態度でかい… 体も大きくなった気がするけれど、それに比例して態度もでかいか？　

にしても、立派な耳、太い手足だ！とあらぬ方向に気が行くのは親バカのなせる技かもしれません。ワン姐さんに迷惑をかけていなければ良いのですが。

ワン姐さん、聞けば年齢を重ねて、ちょっとうるさいのは鬱陶しくなっているとのことだったので。

子猫パワー全開は嫌だろうな、などと思っておりました。

ワンコお姉さんにやりたい放題！なのか、はたまた、お姉さんの大きな愛情ゆえのことなのか？？？　サイラス氏は本当に幸せな子だと、意味なく深くうなずかされる一枚。

あるがままを受け入れてもらえることがどんなにか素晴らしいことかを、つくづく考えさせられました。わが家にいた時、こんなことをしてたかな？？？とか。大勢の中のひとりで、それなりにガマン（？）してたのか？？？

最高、最強のコンビにして最凶の弟分。

And next watching this photo, i couldn't stop laughing and was amazed by his attitude! 

Looks like he is doing what he wants! Many thanks to hiss dog sister. She is the real one who has a big heart! Silas is really a lucky guy! He is being accepted as for what he is!  Is it his talent?  What kind of charm does he has? Was he like this when he was with us? So many question marks rose at once in my head. 

Anyway, if both are not enduring,  it must be OK. 

Great and best couple maybe.

Last litter of Catreine Red Iris & Shonancats Jacob / アイリスとジェイクの最後の子達

だらだらしていても、月日だけは流れるものでね...

6月生まれのアイリスとジェイクの子供達も、気がつけば生後4ヶ月。

幸いなことに人間も体調を崩すことなく、気になっていたワクチンの接種も無事に受けることができました。

そして、可能な限りの注意を払いながら夏の暑い日に記念すべき最後のリッター（ジェイクは引退し、アイリスも引退予定）の4匹を写真撮影に連れて行きました。

トップを飾るのは、全員の集合写真。家で見る姿とはまた違ったすました表情を見せてくれました。

Time flies... Feel like I am using this phrase as a excuse of boing nothing...

The kittens of Red Iris and Jake are now  4 months old. 

Even facing this COVID situation, we are all fine. Had the vaccine shot 2 times too.

And we took our kittens to Tetsu's studio for the group shot.  This litter is another very special litter for me. They are the very last litter of Iris and Jake.  Jake has retired from the breeding program a couple of month ago already.

The top photo is the group shot of the 3 red boys and one Torbie girl with Tetsu"s new props "log" (a bit special log but forgot how special it is... sorry)

これは、仮名アール。キリッとした、男前の子。

9月の終わりに新しいご家族の元に巣立ちました。

正式な名前は”ダニエル”君。タビーが非常に美しい子です。大きな耳としっかりしたあご。

ツンデレ系のように見えますが、ベタベタの甘えん坊。

This boy is aka Earl ("R"). A very handsome boy with strong and wild looking.

He has moved to his forever loving home at the end of September and now is Daniel. Has a very nice and sweet temperature. Purrs like roaring.  

10年来の友人（友人なんて表現したら、嫌がられるかもしれませんが...)のご家族の一員になりました。

先住猫は、ブラックスモークのブライアン！　そう、わが家から巣立って行った彼です。

彼が居れば安心、ダー君、あっと言う間に家族の一員になっているようです♪

He moved to become the youngest member of the family which we know for more than 10 years. His cat brother is Brian, the black smoke boy. Brian will be the good mentor of Dan. Nothing to worry about! 

こちらは、仮名ぽこぺん。

この子は生まれた時に軽度の漏斗胸でした。でも一度も体調を崩すことなく元気に育ってくれています。

仮名のぽこぺんは、彼がまだ生後2週間ぐらいの時に突然頭に閃いた呼び名でした。

This is aka Pokopen. He had slight funnel chest when he was born but growing big enough and is enough healthy. 

ぽこぺんは正式名を”パトリック”とつけましたが、家では相変わらずぽこぺんです。３兄弟の中では少し小さめですが、それでも生後３ヶ月の２回目のワクチン接種の時の体重は2.0kg。十分な大きさだと思っています。

人の背中に飛び乗るのが好きで、わが家の肩乗り猫第一号です♪

His official name is Patric. Not so much big as his brothers but weighed 2.0kg at 3 months old. I am very happy with his growth and think he is enough heavy for this age. 

Loves to climb or jump on my back, the very first "Shoulder Kitten" of ours!

イギーさんが握りしめていた赤い糸... 本日（10月吉日）来てくださったご家族が反対側の先をしっかり握ってくださったいました！　イギーも、わが家を卒業することになりました！

紅一点のイギー嬢。

この子も他の兄弟同様、すごい甘えん坊です。まだ母子とわたしだけで生活をしていた頃は、寝るときに必ずわたしの頭の上に居ました。

ある日、気が付いたら、自然と「イギー」と呼んでいました。ジョジョの奇妙な冒険のイギーはオスのボストンテリアなのですが... （ショジョに出てくるイギーに興味のある方はこちらへ）

Iggy found the family who was holding the other end of the red fate thread today! ( October 24th). She is to move to her new home in a week!

Iggy is the only girl of the litter. 

Her name popped up in my mind when she was purring above my head. Iggy was named after a Boston Terrier which is a character of a famous comic. I thing the very origin comes from Iggy Pop... 

Her official name is "Iris", named after the very mother of her.

まだ自分が女子だと分かっていない節があるイギー嬢の正式名は、”アイリス”。母親の名前をもらいました。母親のアイリスをの名前を決める時に生家では既にアイリスという名前を別の子で登録していた関係で名前に”レッド”を足しました。

Her official name is "Iris", named after the very mother of her. We had to add "Red" in front of Iris for her mother's cattery already had a girl with the same name. So finally we could us the name we wanted to use for our girl.

全員、あかたすの最後の孫にあたる子達です。 

イギーは新しいお家を募集していますが、まだご縁がないまま。このまま、わが家に居ても良いかなとも思っているせいか、今一つ積極的に募集をしていない状況です。

もし、イギーを迎えたいと思う方がいらしたら、是非彼女を口説きにいらしてください！　我こそは！と言うツワモノ様、お待ちしております！

This litter is also the grand children of our Albert.

Iggy is looking for her new family but still not a chance. If she does not have a wonderful encounter, that is also OK. She is always welcomed to stay with us. 

But we still have enough time so if you think you can be the very one, please raise your hand and come to meet her!

そして、トリを飾るのはこの方、仮名”大ちゃん”。

この子はわが家に残ります。正式名は“スパイク”。

(アニメの「カウボーイ・ビーバップ」から。

１回目の予防接種の時に掛かりつけの病院の副院長に付けもらいましたw  奇しくも先生の名前は”大介”。以後は大ちゃんと呼んでいますw

The very last to introduce is aka Dai (means "Big" or "Huge" in Japanese)

He is staying with us and his official name is Spike. Named after the main character of the Japanese animation "Cowboy Bebop" .

大ちゃんはオレンジの色が他の子よりは少し淡い感じです。

腕白で、隙あらば外出（脱走とも言う）しようとして、玄関の出入りには凄く気を遣う日々。

Spike's coat color is a bit light and that is the very point we can figure out who is who. 

has lots of energy, always looking something fun and also always trying to escape from the house. Looks like our house is not big enough! LOL 

写真撮影の時も一番手で、他の子以上に遊びまくっていました。

まさしく、’赤い子は能天気’を地で行っています。

みんなどんなふうに成長していくのかが、楽しみな毎日です。

When we had Tetsu and Hiroko's photo session he was the very first to attend and played very hard... so as a result the shooting time was shorter than others... think he wanted more... LOL

We are looking very forward how they grow. One thing that is sure is all will become a real Gentle Giant!
