1月21日と22日は Enjoy Cat Clubの76回目のキャットショーでした。
わが家からは、満8ヶ月になったサリーとシンディが参加。
チャンピオンシップ（成猫部門）にデビューをしました。
チャンピオンのデビューでわかったこと・・・
それは、サリーはショーよりも家が好き、シンディは家よりもショーが好きらしいということ。
キツン（生後４ヶ月〜8ヶ月未満の子猫部門）では、サリーも、シンディも同じような評価を受けそれぞれに楽しんでいたようですが、成長と共に好みが別れたようです。
一緒に育って来て、それぞれの個性がはっきりして来たことにある種の感慨を覚えてしまいます。
ショーが好きではないらしいサリー、それでも2日間、全18リングに付き合ってくれました。 本当に感謝です。
サリーは、今回でショーを引退しますが、成長した彼女の美しい姿はプロカメラマンの福田さんに撮っていただきました。
写真撮影の際は、元気に遊んでいたとのことで安心しました。
サリーは、これからママになる予定です。
綺麗なコートと、素晴らしい横顔を持っている彼女。 どんなカラーの子供達が生まれるか、本当に楽しみです。
On Jan 21st and 22nd, we took Aman Group Sally of Popokilani and Popokilani Cynthia to ECC Cat Show.
They both made their debut to the Championship.
By attending, we found out that Sally does not like the show and Cindy loves it.
When we took both to the Kitten Class 3 months ago, they both were having fun and were evaluated quite equally.
Being together for quite long time, it seems that their personality became opposite.
Sally who loves home more than show and Cindy who loves the show more than home.
We really would like to thank Sally for attending all 16 rings.
So Sally won't attend the Show any more.
Her pro shot was taken by Mr. Fukuda and those shall be our great souvenir from now on.
Sally is our breeding member, so in the near future we hope to introduce her off-springs!
さて、ショーが大好きらしいシンディの方はというと・・・
And about Cindy, who seems to like the Show...
シンディ、もうびっくりするぐらい“ショー・ガール”でした。
審査台の後ろの待機ケージの中でも“シャキッ”としていて、ジャッジの振る猫じゃらしには素早く反応。
他の猫に振っているものでも、“ターゲット・ロック・オン”状態。
自分が何者か、自分が何を見せたいのかを熟知している感じで。
Cindy seems to be a real "Show Girl".
She was responding really quickly to the teaser, can say "Target Lock On!!!"
Looked like she knew who she is and what is recommended.
審査の無い時に居る控えケージは、さしずめ支度部屋なのでしょうか？
伸びてだらしなく寝ていて、審査に連れて行く際には我々に“カカカ”連発でも待機ケージに入るともうそこには女優のような別の顔が！
女優魂のようなものがあるとしか思えません（笑）
そして、16リング中８リングでファイナル（最終審査）に残り見事”ワン・ショー・デュアル・チャンピオン”になりました。
Waiting cage was her backyard and was looking really unpleasant to be taken to the ring.
She was claiming every time when we try to take her out of show shelter.
But once she goes in to the cage behind the ring, she turned to be an actress.
She flipped and was striking a pose!
And she had 8 finals out of 16 and became "One Show Dual Grand Champion".
TICAのタイトルは、入賞一回でチャンピオン(CH）、6回でグランド・チャンピオン(GCH）、GCH確定後、入賞一回ごとに、デュアル(DGC)、トリプル(TGC)、クオード(QGC)と最高位のスープリーム(SGC)の6段階に別れています。
入賞することだけではなく、タイトル獲得に必要なポイントやその他の条件があります。
コートの色がクリームであること、女の子であることは、チャンピオンシップで入賞を重ねて行くには決して有利な条件ではありません。
メインクーンは、“大きい”のが魅力で、また淡いコートの色は決して主流の色ではないのです。
Having a cream color coat, which I personally love and call "cream porred into milk tea” and because of female, it may be bit difficult for her to win the final from now on.
でも、だからこそ面白い気もします。
シンディ、どこまでタイトルを獲得できるのか？
運気が向いている今、「やれるところまで、やろう！」ということで、彼女のショー生活はしばらく続くこととなりました。
サリーとシンディのそれぞれのこれからを、一緒にいっぱい楽しめたらと思います。
But for so, it must be fun to challenge.
How far can she go on?
It seems that luck has turned in my favor, so let's keep on moving!
So Cindy is going to continue her "Show Life".
We are going to enjoy our life with Sally and Cindy as usual.

Let me say "Thank you to to 3 catteries" which we owe lot.
サリーの快活さは、まさにCattery Aman Groupならではのもの。
フットワークの軽さと、頭の良さで、素敵なママになってくれると。
これからは、家で楽しく暮らしながらママ修行を重ねて行くはずです。
Aman Groupの阪根さんのお家には、わが家で生まれたRUYA君が居ます。
今回のショーにNEW DELHIちゃんと一緒に参加しました。
2ヶ月ぶりに会うRUYA君、更に大きく逞しくなっていました。
いっぱい可愛がっていただいて、幸せに暮らしていることが一目でわかりました。
阪根さん、サリーちゃんをわが家に迎えられたこと、あらためて感謝します。
そしてRUYA君を最高に輝ける環境に置いて下さり、ありがとうございます。

Sally's personality, which is filled with energy and happiness really comes from Cattery Aman Group.
With her footwork and cleverness, I am sure she is going to be a really good mother.
And this is the cattery which RUYA(aka Chris) lives now.
Ms. Sakane brought RUYA and NEW DEHLI together to attend the Show.
In 2 months, RUYA became more male like Maine Coon.
He is a "happy" type boy and now looks more happier then ever which tells me he is really having a wonderful life at Aman Group.
I really would like to thank Ms. Sakane for letting us have Sally and letting RUYA have the best!

シンディが今日こうしていられる源となったシンディの母猫と父猫を譲ってくださった先輩方にこの場を使ってお礼申し上げます。
シンディの母猫の実家は、Williamina Maine Coons のミチ＆ラス・ヘイガン夫妻。そして父猫の実家Cattery Chatile。
どちらも歴史の長いブリーダーさんで、ここから猫を迎えるなど、先のまた先だとずっと考えていました。
ご縁があり、想像していたよりずっと早い時期にWilliamaina WendyとChatile Edwardを迎えることができ、シンディが生まれました。
ヘイガン夫妻、湯本さんがそれぞれの猫を託してくださったこと感謝します。
本当に良いご縁があったこと、そしてそのご縁が一つの花を開いたことうれしい限りです。
昨年の5月に一人っ子で生まれたシンディも、父母猫から素晴らしいものを受け継ぐことができたようです。
ショーでタイトルを積み重ねて行くことがシンディの目標の全てではありませんが、彼女の歴史の一部にはなります。
一回、一回がシンディにも我々にも楽しいものになればと思います。
ミチさん、湯本さん、ありがとうございます！

Our deep appreciation goes to Michi & Rass Hagan of Williamina Maine Coons and Ms. Yumoto of Cattery Chatile.
Michi bred Cindy's dam Williamaina Wendy and Ms. Yumoto bred Cindy's sire Chatile Edward.
These two cattery has long history as a MC breeder and we never imagined to welcome their kittens so shortly.
Having their kittens really helped our cattery to create a new line, which we call 3rd generation.
And Cindy whom was born las May received the very best from her parents which were created by the very effort of the two catteries.
To join the show and get as much final as possible is not the real goal for Cindy, but those shall be part of her history.
We promise to enjoy the show with Cindy and have wonderful time together.
