本日、好天の中、わが家のマギーとヴィックの子供達が新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

上の写真がロイ君、下がルース君。
二人（匹）のこれからの成長は、新しいパパとママのブログ“ゴーヤツナの猫日記”で知ることができます！
もう既に初日の記事もアップされています(=^･^=)

Today our Socks Duo, Luz  & Roy, moved to their forever loving home!
They are the offsprings of Maggie and Victor.

Upper pic is Roy (Brown Classic w/White) and the lower one is Luz (Blue Classic w/ White).
O family started their blog so you can know how they are through it (Japanese only).

TICA & SCC 22-23rd Cat Show : Kitten Class

さて、SCCのキャット・ショーのこちらはキツンクラスのお話。

今回キツンクラスでショーデビューを果たしたのは4月7日にお引越をするRoy君。

兄弟猫のLuz君は既にショーデビューを若干月齢4ヶ月で果たし、山崎哲さんに写真を撮っていただいたので、不公平のないようにこちらも写真を撮って頂こうと思っての参加でした。

During Cindy was having tough time, Roy (aka "R") was enjoining his debut show.

Roy's reason for attending was just to have Testu & Hiroko Yamazaki's photo session.

The was nothing more we were thinking of.

His litter mate brother Luz already joined the show at 4 months old and his photo has been taken at that time.

We just thought is's not fare for Roy having none.

キツンクラスのメインクーンは総勢10頭。

その中には、3日違いで産まれた母違いのフレイヤちゃんもいました。

10 MC kittens were attending the kitten class and there was Freyja (aka "Nike") too.

久しぶりに会ったフレイヤちゃん。

目元もママにそっくりで、美人さんに育っていました。

しっかりファイナルにも残り、記念撮影。

ママ譲りで、気も強いようですが、これからが更に楽しみ。

It was quite a while to see her.
She now looks like her mom Judith, was growing to a wild beauty.
She also won the final.
Hope her to grow to a real beauty.

そして、肝心のRoy君はと言うと・・・
ファイナルに残ることはまったく考えていなかったのですが・・・

And as I wrote we were not expecting anything about Roy...
Never was thinking to win the final...

日頃から物静かなRoy君。

リング上でも穏やかな雰囲気。
ショーは初めてなので、全てがよくわからないうちに進行して居る感じだったのではないかと思います。

Roy is a quite silent boy.
He was playing a lot but not in a wild way.
I think he was not understanding what was going on.

とにかく、審査台の上で遊んでもらえるのは楽しいことのようでした。
生後5ヶ月で4.2kg。　
まずまずの重さ。体もがっちりしてはいますが、まだまだ赤ちゃん体型。

Any way, it looked fun for him.
5 months old and 4.2kg, enough heavy for debut, but still his style was like a baby.

それでも、キリリとした表情をしっかり見せてくれました。
７リングに参加し、気が付けばファイナル4つに入賞。
ショーは全部で8リングあったのですが、実は足の爪を一本深爪してしまい、その指をどっかにひっかけたようで血が出てしまったために1リングはアブセント（棄権）しました。
今日、朝一番に病院で爪の状態を診ていただき、特に問題はないとのこと。
安心しました。

昨日は疲れたはずだと思うのですが、朝から元気に走り回っていました。

ショーに出た後の子達で、参加前と後で変わる子がいます。
Roy君もその中の一匹で、ショーでいろいろな人に触られたり、可愛がってもらったりしたのが彼に変化をもたらしたようです。
何と言えば良いのか・・・一種の自信がつくようで、今までどちらかと言うと内気な感じだったのが、胸をはって堂々とした感じになりました。
たった一日でと思われるかもしれませんが、わがやでもこれはRoy君に限ったことではありません。
かくいう、シンディもその中の一匹です。
"猫はプライドの高い生き物"と言われていますが、そのプライドが人と接することでくすぐられる子もいるということなのかもしれません。

何はともあれ、Roy君の新しい一面が花開いたということだと思います。

He was showing what he has.
He attended 7 rings and won 4.
The show itself was 8 rings but he hurt his nail and could not attend one ring.
Today I took him to the vet and had no problem.

He should have been tired from yesterday but was running around from this morning.

Sometimes a kitten/cat changes after attending a show.
I think Roy is one of them.
Meeting many people and being touched, and sometimes being praised, he seems to found himself as "himself".
He seems to be more comfortable and have more confidence in himself after the show.
Only by a day?  Yes!  This happend to Cindy too.
"Cat have a strong sense of pride" is what I often hear and feel.  And when it is tickled through people, some of them changes suddenly.

Anyway attending the show brought a very good result for Roy.

Roy君、最初で最後のショー。
山崎哲さんにしっかり写真も撮っていただいたし、新しいパパとママの所にお引っ越しする際の記念品もしっかりゲット！
あとは、健康に気をつけて、4月7日を待つばかりです。

フレイヤちゃん、Roy君、皆、ショーお疲れさまでした！

This was the very first and last show for Roy.
Photo session went well so he can also bring them to his new home.
All we have to be sure is to keep Roy in a good condition till April 7, the day he leaves.

新しいお家に引っ越した9月28日生まれのレオくんの写真をいただきました。もう生後5ヶ月、たくましく成長してだんだん大人の顔になってきたかな? Tさま、うれしい写真をありがとうございます!

正式なお名前はLuz(ルース）君！

現在3.5ヶ月で2.5kgの美男子。

とても綺麗なブルーの色に白い靴下履き。

元気で、わんぱくな男の子です。

Happy Leo / ハッピーレオ君

12月のクリスマスの日にお引っ越ししていったレオ君（旧仮名:“Q”）
半月ほどで、また違った雰囲気になりました。
女の子だと思い込んでしまったほどの優しい顔が、少しわんぱくな感じに変化してきて、ちょっとした（かなりの）ハンサム君に成長してきました。


レオ君のママは、マギー、パパはヴィクターです。
今はママに似ている気がするけれど、さてさて、この先どちらに似て行くのでしょうか？
楽しみです。


レオ君のパパとママのメールから：

こんばんは。
昨年は、素敵な出会いをありがとうございました。
レオは余りあるほど元気いっぱいです！僕たちにちょこちょこ付いて回ってとてもかわいいです。ひとつお伺いしたいのですが、猫草なるものはあげたほうがいいんですか？
写真送りましたが、ちゃんと見れますか？

それから、

 今は毎朝７時くらいに起こされるので、二人とも寝不足です…(汗)

猫草を食べるようになったり、パパとママを静かに寝かせてあげる日はいつくるのやら・・・

T様、どうぞレオ君をよろしくお願いいたします。
また機会があったら写真を拝見出来ればうれしい限りです。

思いで深いクリスマスのお引越になってよかったね、レオ君！

The other day we received a email from T family with a wonderful photo of aka "Q" who moved to them on last Christmas.
His name is Leo now.


Within a half month, he seems to became more handsome.
Still having a soft look, which made us believe him as a girl, he is now changing into a handsome guy!


Leo's dam is Maggy and sire is Victor.
Right now he looks like his mother.
It must be really fun to see him develop his own character...


He is really active is what T family wrote.
T's are missing their "beauty sleep" these days, well see.


Leo, enjoy your life with your new dad and mom!
And pile up wonderful memories as much as you can!

aka P" and aka "Nike" (Video) / 仮名"P"と仮名"ナイキ"（ビデオ）

仮名“P”はナイキと大の仲良し。
母親違いの兄妹。

ナイキの兄弟姉妹は通称アスレチックグループと言われそれぞれの仮名がKappa、Nike、ReebokとConverse。
ただし、"JJ"だけは別ですが・・・ジュディのジャンボということで。

一方仮名"P"は、"P"、"Q"、"R"に”MJ”。
MJがアレックス君になった時にお迎えに来て下さったパパとママはかの偉大なるアーティストM.J.のTシャツを着て来てくれました。
ということで、仮名"P"や"仮名R"の名前を仮名とはいえもう少ししゃれた物にしようかと・・・
"P"は"Prince"に、"R"は"Ritchie (Blackmorre)" にでもしようかなと思案中。
仮名とは言え、名前って意外と大事な気がします。

仲良しのNike とPが一緒に居られるのもきっとあとわずか。

思い出をビデオにしておきました。

aka"P" and aka "NIke" are really close friends.

Their mom is different but have same father, Victor.

Nike's litter mates nickname were mostly related to athletic shoes such as "Kappa", Nike, Reebok and Converse.
Only exception is "JJ". His name came from "Judy's Jumbo".

And for "P", his other mates were "Q", "R' and "MJ".

When "MJ"'s new dad and mom came to bring him home, they were wearing  M.J., the great artist, 's T-shirts.
So from that we are considering to better give a more suitable nickname for the 2 boys.
Like "Prince" for P and "Ritchie (Blackmore) or (Lionel ) Richie for R.    
Nickname is a nickname, but name must be quite important till they get the real name, isn't it?

A bit of humor may bring a luck!!

Nike may leave in a while... a bit sad but really a good thing for her.

So we took the video to remember the good old days for the future.

Her head is not so big but has a strong boning and have enough weight at her age.

aka "MJ" (Maggy's Jumbo) II / MJ (マギーのジャンボ君）II

こちらはマギーのジャンボ君、仮名MJ。
新しいお名前は“アレックス”君。
これもまた素敵な響きを持った名前ですが、“アレックス”というと、わたしは昔流行ったTVドラマ『スパイのライセンス』の主人公を思い出します。
当時主演の俳優さんが大好きで、その役名と同じ名前が付いたのがなんともうれしく思えてしまいます。

アレックス君、クリスマスの日のお引越が素敵なものになりますように♪

This is aka MJ.
He also got a new name "Alex".
His new name reminds me the US TV drama "It takes a Thief".
This drama was one of favorite in my young days!

It is so nice to hear this name and call out.

マギーの男の子、ブルーの白靴下履きの男の子の今日の写真です。

新しいお家に引っ越すまで、できるだけ写真をアップさせていただくお約束をしたので

今日の表情をアップ。

新しいお名前は・・・ピポカ君

これポルトガル語で“ポップコーン”という意味。

ポンポンはじける感じが、この元気印の子にはぴったりだと思います。

お渡しまでの間、わが家でもピポカ君と呼んでいます。

マギーのブラウンの男の子も、今日新しいお家が決まりました。

Maggy's brown boy also found a new home today.
He is also leaving on 25th of Dec.

His new dad and mom are of course a cat lover but are now living with ferret!
And this ferret brother has already has a experience living with cats!

aka MJ loves to eat play and sleep (as a usual kitten does).  Also loves to cuddle too.
We are really happy that we came to know M family and wish the very best to them and aka MJ.
