カナダに行ったラルフローレン。
生後8ヶ月になった写真が届きました。

ジュディスとあかたすの息子でテオとオレオ君の兄弟。
カナダのお家でノルウェージャンのCOCO嬢と幸せに暮らしています。
現在体重6.5kgほど。　まだまだ成長中です！

This is Ralph Lauren, the boy from Judith and Albert, litter mate of Teo and Oreo.
He is now living in Canada and now 8 months old. About 6.5kg big.

So happy to see how he has grown, still growing to be a gentle giant!

Love you Ralph! You found the best for yourself!

今年の９月にエンドウと海を渡ってカナダに移りすんだテオトリアッテの近影が今日届きました！

今、彼女は生後7ヶ月で、4.5kgほど。　立派なレディに成長してくれているようです。
テオは、ジュディスとあかたすの子供で、彼女の兄弟のラルフ君もオレオ君も早くにわが家を巣立ちました。

This is the very photo of Teo Torriatte, who moved to Canada this September.
Her current mom, Jan H. of Coonamour just sent me the beautiful photos of Teo taken by herself.

She is now about 9 pounds 4 ounces, enough heavy for a 7 months old girl. We are so glad that she is growing to such a beauty. Teo is a girl from Judith and Albert. Her littermates, Ralph and Oreo also left for their own home so it is nice to see how they are growing! And Teo became a real "breath taker"!

カナダの仲好しの友達のキャッテリーで可愛がられて幸せに暮らしているのは、承知していましたが、巣立ってから二ヶ月、こんなに毛葺きよく立派になっているとは・・・

本当に嬉しい限りです。
上の写真は母のジュディスによく似ています。　父親であるあかたすからは、たぶん立派な体を受け継いだのだと思います。

I knew she is living happily at Jan's cattery, but never imagined she could become like this in just a couple of months... So happy and proud of her and Jan.
The upper photo looks like Teo's mom Judith, feel like she received lots from her mother and improved those. And from Albert she received his body structure!

父違いのリーボックにもワイルドな顔立ちがよく似ているかもしれません。

And I also see some similarity to Rebecca, her half sister. The wildness Teo has is the one like Rebecca has.

ブラウン・クラシック・トービーのテオのコートは、赤い色が強く、こういうトービーの色の出方は一説には“リバーシブル・トービー”ともいうそうです。
顔の右半分はブラウンの色が強く出ていて、左半分は赤味の強いブラウン。
アシンメトリーな色の出方が特徴的な子です。

Teo is a Brown Classic Torbie and the red color seems to be stronger.  Half side of her face is deep brown and other half has more red color. Her "M" mark on her forehead starts with dark brown and ends up with red.  This makes her look more unique I guess.

でも、多分テオの一番素晴らしい所は彼女の性格そのものにあるのでは無いかと思います。　わが家に居た時から素晴らしく甘え上で気だてのいい子でしたが、今もそれは変わらず、更に良さが際立っているとのこと。　猫も人も好きで、周りと素敵な関係を作ることに長けているようです。

遠い国にお引っ越ししたテオ。　長い道のりを経て今更に魅力的なレディに成長中。　彼女を受け入れてくれたジャンにあらためてお礼を伝えたいと思います。

But the most wonderful part of her is her personality. She was always a happy girl loving every human and cats around her when she was with us. And nothing changed her, just let her be more sweet! I believe this is because of Jan. I am sure she taught lots of English vocabularies and many other things! LOL  

This is the face of a cat living a very happy life!

A girl called Teo / テオという名前の女の子

8月中旬の予定が約1ヶ月遅れて、ジュディスとあかたすの娘のテオがわが家を巣立ちました。
ブラウン･トービーの美しい色をした女の子。　正式名は伝説のバンド”クィーン”の曲名そのままのTeo Toriatte。

以前にも書きましたが、テオは3匹生まれた中の紅一点として、われわれの寝室のロフトで二番目に産声をあげました。　男の子と同じくらい重く、赤ん坊ながらにしっかりとした子でした。 額のMの字の左半分は父親のあかたすと同じ赤い色。　その部分は生まれた時からはっきりしていたので、この子の性別だけはすぐに特定できました。

無事に三匹を産み終わったジュディスは満足そうに横たわり、この日から彼女の不休の24時間子育て体制がスタートしました。
ジュディスは前回の出産でくろたす一匹を産み、満二週間にして母親業を終わりにしてしまいました。
そんな経緯もあり、今回のジュディスの出産には大分気を揉みました。
無事に産んでくれるのか・・・、育児放棄したら・・・、いったい何匹だったら代理母親業が可能か・・・
わが家では出産は通常われわれの寝室で行われ、生後約3ヶ月まで母子共にのんびりと暮らしてもらいます。
今回は、同じ時期にシンディが出産予定だったので、2組の子供達が部屋を共有予定でした。
母猫達は出産予定日の約2～3日前から寝室に引っ越します。

今回もいつもと同様だったのですが、ジュディスはロフトを選び、そこに置いてあったキャリーを出産箱として選びました。
実はシンディもロフトでの出産を計画していたようでしたが、そこは早いもの勝ち！
出産を一日早く迎えたジュディス、ベスト・プレースを確保しました。

よほど場所が気に入っていたのか、大きめのキャリーで子供たちに授乳し、お世話をし、あやしていました。
それは、それは幸せそうな顔をしており、前回とは猫が違ったかのようでした。（前回は産後の鬱状態のようでした・・・）
一匹一匹をものすごく可愛がり、文字通り舐め倒していました。
あえて付け加えるならば、ほんの少し多くテオを可愛がっていたような気がします。

3匹は愛情を一身に受けて、元気で陽気な子達に育ちました。

中でもテオは一番好奇心旺盛で、あまえ上手で、その分ちょっぴり余計に母親の気を引くことに成功していたようです。
生まれてから日を重ねるにつれ、性格や表情がはっきりし来るのを見守るのは、いつも通り楽しいことでした。

そんな中、テオの新しいご家族の話しが進んで行きました。
そこから弾みが付いたように、テオの兄弟、のちのラルフ君とオレオ君のお引越しも決まりました。
そして、時を同じくしてシンディの子供たちにも素敵な家族が見つかって行きました。

一番最初にお引越しが決まってた子が、わが家を一番最後に後にするとは･･･
まだ生後5ヶ月のような気もしますし、もう5ヶ月･･･

わが家に残るハーブの大事な遊び友達が居なくなってしまいます。
ハーブは、テオが大好きなようで、何かあるとテオを”守っている”感じでした。
明るく陽気、掃除機大好きなテオ。
新しいお家でも、今のまま、変わらず大きくなっていくと思います。

テオ、素敵な思い出を一杯ありがとう。
少し長くわが家に居てもらってしまったね。
これからの日々は、きっと今よりも素晴らしいものになるはず。

今回のお届け役も再びえんどうです。
テオにも涙を見られないですみました。（ただ、出発日が休日だったので、成田まで送りました･･･）

とうとう、4月生まれの最後の子が手元を離れました･･･

皆、素敵な時間をありがとう！

いつもか言うことだけど、わが家のことを早く忘れますように！
君達がママとパパから受け継いだものは全部、体の中に息づいているから思い出は変わっても大丈夫なはず。

Ralph Lauren & Fancy Pants! / ラルフ・ローレンとファンシー・パンツ！

今回掲載した写真は、7/19日にわが家に残っていたこの3匹と靴下履きのレッド君の4頭を連れて山崎哲さんのハウススタジオで撮影していただいたものです。

ジュディスとあかたす、シンディとアルフォンスの子供達のその後の話です。
写真の4匹の子達のうち、赤い子は先日ご紹介した通り、LOA君と言う名前でわが家のショーの大先輩のお家に引っ越しました。
左端のトービーの女の子は9月下旬にお引越予定です。今回は、右端のブラウンの男の子とその隣りのシルバー・トービーの女の子について。

This time, I would like to write about the update about Judith & Albert's kittens and Cindy & Alphonse's Kittens.

The red/white boy, as introduced the other day, already moved to his new family.
The Brown Torbie girl is to move to her new family around the end of September.
Today is about the Brown boy and the Silver Torbie girl.

ジュディスはわれわれの寝室のロフトで子供達を産み、シンディは一日後にわれわれのベッドの横で子供達を産みました。それぞれ別々の階で暮らしていましたが、生後1ヶ月になってからは、ロフトで生活することは子供達に危険があるため、二家族同居を決行。
子供たちはすぐに仲良しになりましたが、母親であるジュディスは神経質になっていて、シンディに対してなかなか打ち解けない日々が10日ほど続きました。
でも、そんな彼女の気持も、だれが母親なのかをまったく気にしないシンディの子供たちの体当たりの「ママ大好き！」攻撃によりだんだんと和らいで行きました。　気が付けばジュディスの子達がシンディの、シンディの子達がジュディスのおっぱいにぶら下がっていました。　これも、母親の偉大さに感動する一瞬でした。

Judith delivered her babies at the loft in our bed room. 

And Cindy delivered her babies beside our bed a day later.
They had their own territory but or after a month, we decided to let them share the same floor for safety.
Kittens got along so easily but Judith was very nervous for about 10 days... Especially to Cindy.

Both litters solved this situation so easily.  Kittens shared their mother. Some times Judith's babies were clinging to Cindy and sometimes Cindy's babies were drinking milk from Judith. I think that melted Judith's fear.
"Love attack" won! LOL
This was a wonderful thing to watch. Both mother loved all and all was happy being loved by both. 

ブラウンタビーの男の子、新しい名前をもらって無事海を越えて最愛の家族の元へと巣立っていきました。

名前は、”ラルフ・ローレン”。　永住の地はカナダ。

昨日の金曜日にえんどうが同伴して飛行機の座席の下、アメリカのシアトルに無事に到着しました。カナダへの移住は、土曜日の午後の予定です。

今まで、海を渡って海外移住した子はアルゼンチンに行った武士道だけでした。

今年はいろいろなご縁に恵まれ、子猫達が海を越えました。

Brown boy got a new name, Ralph Loren. He is now living in Canada now. Moved with Yasuyuki by plane, inside the cabin, under his feet. Landed at Seattle and moved by the car from there.

The kitten we have sent out to overseas was Bushido and this year we had came to know some more family living overseas. I really appreciate my best friend' for introducing them!

ラルフは、ジュディスとあかたすの間に生まれた3兄弟姉妹のうちで一番大きな子でした。

生後4ヶ月で体重3.4kg。　非常に綺麗なタビー模様を持つ男の子。

わんぱくで、元気いっぱい。いつも何かを狩っているような子です。

カナダに行くご縁が決まったのが6月。それからは彼に話しかける際には多少の英語を交えながら毎日を過ごしました。

今回のジュディスは子供達を大事に大事に育てました。　3回目の母親業で、慣れたのかも知れませんが、愛情を注ぐ、それを全部受け止めて育つということはこういうことか・・・と改めて母親の力強さを感じたリッターでした。

Ralph is son of Judith and Albert, one of the 3  of her kittens. He was born big and is now 4 month old and weighs 3.4kg. Has a very clear and beautiful tabby pattern,
Full of energy and easy going boy.
Since it was decide of him going to Canada, I started using some English talking to him! Hope it is working...

Judith devoted everything of what she has to this litter. This was her 3rd delivery so may be she had confident to what she was doing. Giving all and receiving all... Judith taught me many things during her nursing... Life is so wonderful... 

甘え上手で、猫も人も恐れるもの無し。天衣無縫という言葉は彼のためにある言葉だと思います。（掃除機は別ですがw・・・）

Knows how to share time with others, Ralph became a boy with no fear (except the vacuum cleaner! LOL)

All received the best from their 2 mothers.

さて、そのラルフと一緒にシアトル入りを果たしたのがシンディの子のファンシーです。

And this is Fancy who also moved to her new home. She moved to Seattle.

ファンシーははシンディの産んだ5匹の子供たちの中で一番小さかった子。生まれた時は110ｇほどあったのですが、一番最後に生まれたせいか、良いおっぱい（？）は確保しそびれたのかもしれません。（笑）

小柄ながら、非常にクールな美人さんです。小さい頃は産毛がぽわぽわしていて、一体どんな風になって行くのか秘かに気を揉んだのも今は笑い話です。そんな心配を私の大親友は笑い飛ばし、「彼女は美人になる！」と断言して励ましてくれたのも良い思い出です。

通称”ミス・タイニー”は”ファンシー・パンツ”という正式名に変わりました。

※  ファンシー・パンツ：「活かした女の子」という意味があるそうです。

ファンシー・パンツの呼び名はファンシー。　彼女はアメリカのキャッテリーの一員となります。　母親のシンディと同じように子煩悩な母親になってくれればと思います。

シルバーは父のアルフォンスから。トービーの赤い色は母親のシンディから。クールな雰囲気は誰から受け継いだのでしょうか？

Fancy is one for the 5 kittens which Cindy delivered. And one of the very last litter of Alphonse. She was about 110g when she was born but became the smallest of the litter. May be she could not get one of the best position of her mother's breast.

She is now a very cool looking princess. When she was a  baby, her coat was too soft and was sticking from every where and I could not imagine how she is going to become. I was quite anxious about her looks but my friend was always telling me that there is nothing to worry about her looks. And yes she really turned out to be a beautiful MC kitten.

She is now the member of the MC cattery. I really hope to become a good mother like Cindy.
Silver color comes from her dad Alphonse and red part comes from Cindy. And where did the cool personality came from... Just wondering... LOL 

ジュディスの子供2匹、シンディの子供4匹。　みんなわが家を無事に巣立っていきました。それぞれの母親達とわれわれが関わったのはここまで。　後は皆がそれぞれ、新しいお家で自分たちの個性を花開いて行く番です。元気に花開くだけのエネルギーは十分に備わっているはずです。

みんなの、今後の幸せを心より願っています。

最後となりますが、今回の子供達からご飯に生肉を取り入れ始めました。

生肉とそれに加える10種以上のサプリ。　カナダの大親友が長いこと調整したどり着いたレシピです。

このレシピのおかげで、8頭全員すこぶる元気に育ってくれました。

あらためて、レシピを提供してくれた友人に感謝の意を表したいと思います。

Judith's 2 kittens left, Cindy's 4 also left. There mother did all what they can. Now it is there turn to show what they have. We believe they have enough energy to live their new life with their new family.

We pray and wish the best for all of them!

And lastly, we would like to say many thank you to my best friend. Both litters were raised with raw food. This was our first challenge and without her own recipe, I think we could not have this well growing litter.

おまけ：

生まれた子猫達は合計8匹。　巣立った/巣立つ予定は7匹。　残り1匹は・・・　

そうなんです、「今回は誰もわが家には残らない！」と公言していたにも関わらず「明けてびっくり玉手箱！」とでも言うのでしょうか？

気が付いたら”男と男の約束！”（？）でわが家に残ることになりました。

仮名ハッピー、正式名は「ハーバート」、通称ハーブ。

レッドシルバーの男の子です。　祖父のエドに似た大きな男の子です。

この子に関しては、またショーの写真などであらためてご紹介していくつもりです。

PS:
Total 8 kittens were born from Judith and Cindy. 6 has left and another girl is going to leave in near future.
Still one 1 left and he is going to stay with us. His nick name was "Happy" now formally "Herbert". I was planing to keep none this time but Yasuyuki made a promise with Herb directly... Words should not be broken even it is between kitten and human. LOL So he is going to be with us.

His first show will next Saturday. Looking forward how he will be evaluated  at the ring.
4.5 month old, red classic tabby boy goes to his 1st show.  A boy who has the taste of Cindy and his grandfather Edward!

4 ever Love ! / 性格出ています！

生後3ヶ月ちょっとで、山崎哲／裕子夫妻に撮って頂いた子猫達。
ブラウン系がジュディスとあかたすの3匹のうちの2匹。
もう１匹のブラウンの男の子はこの写真撮影の前に素敵なご家族の元に引っ越しました。

レッドとシルバートービーがシンディとアルフォンスの4匹のうちの子供達。
こちらは5姉妹兄弟だったのですが、女の子１匹と男の子１匹はやはり早めにお引っ越ししました。　そして、レッドシルバーの男の子はわが家に残ることになったので、新しいお家に引っ越す残り4頭での撮影となりました。

These are the photos taken by Tetsu and Hiroko Yamazaki at Catography Photo Studio next to their place.
Brown colors are the offspring of Judith and Albert.
They were 3 siblings but one moved to his forever loving home before this session.

Red and the Silver Torbie girl are form Cindy and Alphonse.
They are the very last litter of Alphonse. Their were 2 girls and 3 boys. One girl also moved to her forever loving home before and the boy is to stay with us.

So we took 4 kittens, whom are all moving for the photo session.

皆、それぞれわが家を卒業です。
一番早かったのがレッドの男の子。
撮影の翌日に新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

All found a wonderful forever loving home of their own.
And the red boy moved to his new family the next day of this session.

素敵な思い出になりました！

Never can forget the graduates. These 4 are also to be added to the memory album in our heart.

Oreo and Colon! / オレオ君とコロン君

左がブラウンクラシックタビーのオレオ君、右がクリームシルバーのコロン君。

ふたり仲良く、新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

オレオ君は、ジュディスとあかたすの息子。
おじいちゃんのアインにも似た男の子です。
人も猫も大好きで、リビングに居た時には、よく大きいおばさん達から可愛がられたり、たしなめられたり。

こちらは、ジャニーズ系（？）の美男子コロン君。
シンディとアルフォンスの最後の子供達のひとりです。
ママ譲りの綺麗なクリームと思っていたら、毛の根元が白っぽくて、どうやらクリームシルバーのよう・・・
ちょっと控えめな感じの美男子君。
昔わが家で生まれてお引越したユベントス君を思わせる子。

ただし、食べる事に関しては誰にも引けを取らないタイプのようです。

K様ご夫妻、オレオ君とコロン君をよろしくお願いいたします。

Judith's babies status update / ジュディスの子猫達お家が決まりました

2014年4月12日に生まれたジュディスとあかたす（正式名：アルベルト）の子猫達です。
左から、仮名SB♂　仮予約

真ん中:ブラウンクラシックトービーの仮名とーびーちゃん♀　新しいご家族決定

右：仮名BB♂　新しいご家族決定

この3匹は、両親に似て大柄で骨格がしっかりした子達です。

体重は右から順番に重く、BB君は、8週間で1.6kg。トービー嬢が1.4kgでした。

ジュディスはシンディ同様、素晴らしい母親ぶりを遺憾なく発揮して全員をしっかりと育ててくれました。われわれの寝室のロフトで子供達を産み、育て、子供達はお腹が空いて泣く事もありませんでした。　ロフトでの子育ては離乳食までの1ヶ月間続き、まさしく24時間母として臨戦態勢でのぞんでいました。

この写真は、とーびーちゃんのグルーミングをするジュディス。
この子達の写真の中で一番好きな一枚です！

Judith was a perfect mother and is raising the 3 kittens very well.
She delivered them ate the loft of our bed room. None of them cried for hunger since they were born. She stayed at the loft thill they were one month old and then moved down to our bed room floor and started to share the room with Cindy and her kittens.

Above photo is the one hat Judith grooming her daughter. This is one of my favorite photo!

綺麗な大きな耳、アゴも、鼻筋も綺麗で、体も十分に長く女の子としても大柄な子です。

遊ぶのが好きで、掃除機も恐く無い。
ショーに出ても物怖じしないのではないかと思います。

This is the only daughter of Judith. She has beautiful ear set, nice and strong muzzle, Long body and long tail. So playful and even OK with the vacuum cleaner.
May be a type who loves to go to the show... I wish! LOL

そのとーびーちゃんと一緒に右側に写っているのがBB。

「この子はでかい！」というのが、まず一番の感想です。

このたび素敵なご縁があり、この子も新しいお家に引っ越します。

On the right is aka BB.
He is a very flashy boy with strong boning and big body.
"Huge boy" was my first expression.
He found his new family, a very happy thing for them and us! 

明るいブラウンの色が顔周りに入っていて、華やかな印象の子です。
寝ていると、人間の足で良く遊んで居ますw

Warm brown around his face makes him look really handsome.
Playing all day long and in a sudden fall into sleep. LOL

そして三匹目が仮名SB君。上の写真の右側の男の子です。
綺麗な横顔とやはりしっかりとしたアゴを持っています。
おじいちゃんのアインシュタインに似ているかも。耳も大きく綺麗な形をしています。

And this is aka SB. The one on the right side of the above photo.
He has a wonderful profile.
Not so much big as BB but will grow to be a giant I think.
Has a big hand and foot. He is the very one who looks alike his grandfather.
His new family will come and see him. I think he himself will choose them!

大人になると渋めの大きなハンサム君になると思います。
気が優しくて、ちょっぴり控えめ。　でも、やはり遊ぶのは大好きです。
この子が一番早くにわが家を巣立ちそう。

A hardboiled type handsome guy he will be.
Very gentle and a bit timid character.
I think he is the very first one to leave our house.

7月には山崎哲/裕子ご夫妻のハウススタジオでその時わが家にいる子猫達全員を連れて写真撮影に臨む予定です。

In July we are planing to take all the kittens to Tetsu Yamazaki's House Studio.
But at that time SB won't be with us. We are sure we miss him...

ジュデイの子供達の新しいご家族の募集は行いません。
新しいお名前は、それぞれがお引越した頃にまたお伝えできればと思います。

We won't look for a new family for Judith's litter.
New names of each will be updated later after they settled down.

Happy Kittens! / はっぴーな子猫達！

本日、サックUK”キャットプレイハウス飛行機”なる猫用のおもちゃをやっと組み立てました。

ダンボールの厚紙で自分で組み立てるもの。　ぶきっちょで、気が短い自分は、しばし格闘しながらの作成w

Today I finally built a carbon made cat house which I have bought at Amazon Jp.
“suck UK Cat Plane" is the item and it was quite easy, though I was feeling like I have 10 thumbs...

みんな集まって来て、外側のケースのチェック中。

ちゃんと組み立ててもらえるのか、興味深々！

Looked like they were doubting about if I really finish building it! LOL

出来上がったものが写真と同じか、またチェック。
「作るのに時間かかりすぎ！」とか「飛ぶのかな〜・・・」という声が聞こえて来そうw

And finally done! They were still checking if the photo and the real one is same!

で、出来上がった本体を入念にチェック！

後ろで、ママの一人であるシンディが、何かぶつぶつ言っていました・・・

Check, check, check!!!
Cindy was murmuring something...

「翼、ちょっと大丈夫でちかっ！？」
「雨に濡れてとけませんかっ？」

"Is the wing OK, are you sure?"
"Won't melt like Icarus????"

小さな整備士さんたち、大奮闘の巻！
Little mechanic ware all very busy! LOL

「うん、これならだいじょうぶでちっ！」
やっと、OKをもらえましたw

Finally I got "OK" from the little mechanics! Yeah!!!

さあ、一番乗りはだれかな？
So who is the very first to get in?

雨の土曜だけれど、気持ちは”お日様さんさんさん”。

It is raining outside but the kittens eyes are shining! 

皆、生後8週間になります。

明日は、8匹全員連れて一回目の予防接種。

このまま、大きく育て！

All are now 8 week old.
Tomorrow is their first visit to the vet.

Wish them to keep on growing happily and healthy.
