オノクーンさんから来たはじめてのメインクーン、オノクーンドン・ファン。
わが家では、第一世代と呼んでいます。
レオンと一所に引っ越して来たのが2006年5月。
早いものであれから約5年。 彼も6歳になりました。
キャットショーのチャンピオン・クラスに出陳しているのを見初めたのが始まりで、Onocoonさんに無理を言って我が家に。
まだその時は我々もブリーダーになることは考えていなかったので、すぐに去勢しました。
同じキャッテリーから母違いのレオンと一緒に引っ越してきて。
二匹で始まった暮らしも、気がつけば16匹の大所帯。
こんなに猫の家族が増えるとは彼も思っていなかったと思います。
ドン・ファンは穏やかな子で、文字通りグレート・ボス。
新しく迎えた子や、生まれてきた子達にわけへだてなく接してくれます。
ビビリのレオを陰日向に支え、猫としての生き方を教えてくれたようです。
もちろんその指導はマイケルにも渡り、マイケルが大人になるに連れその教えを次の世代に実践。
ブリード・グループに入ることはなかったものの、その志は5年経った今も見事に継承されているようです。
病気もせず、元気に穏やかに歳を重ねていくドン・ファン。
ビッグを通り越して、いつのまにかグレートの称号を与えられ。
このまま優雅に暮らして欲しい。

Onocoon Don Johan is the very first MC that came to join us.
He came from Cattery Onocoon in Tokyo and we are calling him and Leon “The First Generation”.
He moved to our place in May 2006 with Leon his step brother.
Almost 5 years has passed then and now he became 6 years old.
Around his 40’s if he is a human.
We met him at the cat show and at that time he was attending the TICA Champion Class.
My husband fell in love with him, his beautiful coat, his body length and his strong eyes etc.
At that time we didn’t have any idea of being a breeder so we neutered him in a while.
In May, during the long national holiday which is called “Golden Week” in Japan, he and Leon came.
Already 2 months has passed since we saw them.
Started from only two, now the population has grown to 16, became a quite big family.
I think he never thought of becoming like this at that moment.
Don Johan has a great temper; he is so calm and really a gentle guy (well to tell the truth he sometimes bites to show his loving).
He is really a “Great Boss”.
Looks after everyone, never mind about where they came from.
It seems he does not care if one came from somewhere else or new born.
He really supported Leon the timid honestly, taught all the necessary knowledge as a “catkind”.
That knowledge seemed to be passed to Micael through Leon and Micael has passed to all the young ones he was looking after. And it seem to be still taken over now on.
Don Juan did not take a part in breeding, but the good things he has are all sent out to the second, third generation and shall keep on going.
Being always healthy and living happily (I hope he is happy!), and because of above reason, we call him “Great Boss”.
