TICA 2013-2014 Asia Regional Award Party (Gotcha!)

「いつか、インターナショナル・ウィナーが誕生したら・・・」

宝くじにあたるのと等しいぐらい・・・IWになることはそんな感じのものでした。

"If some day... If someday a IW is born in our cattery..."
This was kind of our dream... A dream same as winning a LOTO...

そんな夢が、2013年ー2014年のショー・シーズンに現実のものとなりました。

わがやで誕生した正式名アルバート（通称：あかたす）がインターナショナルの長毛部門で24位に入賞しました。

あかたすは、2012年10月にシンディとCascade Mtn. Einstienの初めての子供として生まれたレッド・クラシックタビーの男の子です。
シンディにとって初めての出産でしたが、彼女は戸惑う事無く見事な母親ぶりであかたす、さつまとアーシュラを育てあげてくれました。

あかたすが本格的にショーにデビューしたのは2013年10月。

その前にキツン部門で数回出てはいたのですが、夏場を挟んでいたこともあり、通常よりは少し遅いデビューでした。

12月まで日本のショーに参加。

その間にSGCの個猫タイトルも無事獲得することができました。
そして、2014年1月末にアメリカのポートランドのショーに参加しました。
5リングでファイナル・インを果たし、それが起爆剤となって帰国後日本で行われた全てのショーに参加しました。

その結果を今回のIW入賞に繋げることができました。

Our dream became this year by the 2013-2014 TICA Show season.
Albert, born in our cattery became IW SGC LH 24th Best CAT.

Albert was born in Oct. 2012, as an only son of Cindy and Cascade Mtn. Einstein of Popokilani. He is a Red Classic Tabby boy and the very first litter of Cindy. His Dam and Sire's first litter.
Cindy was really a perfect mother even this was her first experience.

Albert's Show debut was on Oct. 2013. He started his career from a bit old.
He attended couple of Shows when he was a kitten but started his real career from almost a year old.

Till end of Dec. he participated the Shows held in Japan. He got the SGC title during that term. At end of Jan. 2013, we took him to TICA International Cat Show held in Portland.　it was a big show and there he won 5 finals. This result made us to decide and was the beginning.

8月24日（日）に東京の目黒雅叙園において、TICAアジアリージョンのアワードパーティーが開かれました。
えんどうは、子猫達と一緒にアメリカに行っていたので、私ひとりの参加。
ちょっと寂しい気もしましたが、これはもう仕方のないことで・・・w

On this August 24th, TICA Asia Region Regional Award PArty was held at Meguro Gajoen. Tokoyo.
I went to recive Albert's Rosett by myself. As Yasuyuki was in Seattle to deliver our kittens he could not join... (Well to tell the truth I wished him to be with me to celebrate ...LOL)

会場には、たくさんのお花が並べられていました。クラブからのもの、入賞者の方へのもの。　猫がいないと倒されたりする心配もなく・・・。　久しぶりに生花を堪能しました！

Many many flower stands were decorated at the hall. From each clubs, to the winner them selves... No need to worry cats messing those or think about the damage... Yes the hall was Cats Free (I mean no cats)! I had a chance to enjoy those colors and smells!!!

車で行ったので、いつもどおりアルコールは無し。

もともと飲まないのですが、今回もオレンジジュースで乾杯させていただきました。

I went there by car, so no alcohol as usual.
I don't drink so no problem anyway.
Lift the glass for "Cheers (Kanpai)" filled with orange juice.

これが、今回のロゼッタ。

あかたすは、全猫種と長毛部門の二部門に入賞したのでピンク系のロゼッタが二本。そして、個猫タイトルの最高位のSGCも取得したのでブルー/オレンジ（中央）のロゼッタもいただきました。

このSGCのロゼッタは取得者のおみやげとなるため、パーティーに出席しないといただけません。欲が深いわたしは、これが欲しくてパーティーに出席しました。（もちろんパーティー代払わなければもらえませんw）

These are this times rosetta.
The pink one are for RW. Albert was 4th best in both AB and LH. (Top 4 was all long hair cats!)
And the one in middle is for SGC. It is a souvenir for the SGC cats but can not receive it if you do not pay the party fee.
I am greedy enough wanting to have this souvenir... (I mean I paid for the party and got this!LOL)

今回の”旅の友”はこの赤ねこさん。
お皿に盛った前菜にも付き合ってもらいました。

中国は北京からいらした若いカップルとテーブルを一緒に囲ませていただきました。

中国から、キツン部門でRW入賞！　素晴らしいことです。　素敵なラグドールの子猫ちゃん。　これから一層の活躍をお祈りしています！

There was a young couple attending the party. They are Ragdoll breeder and RW winner in kitten class. They came from Beijing, China.
So nice and sweet couple they were. It is so nice to have Winners coming from different countries. Felt like we are still open to any cat fanciers!

そして、メインディッシュ！
ぴりっと味付けされたビーフン！中々のお味でした！

This was the main dish. With the noodle made from rice powder!
Was bit spicy but really delicious!

こちらは、猫友であり猫親戚のアマングループの代表とそのオーナーさん。
白いメインクーンはわが家から行ったルヤ君の息子のスカイウォーカー君。
RWおめでとう！

These 2 ladies are my cat friend also cat relative.
The left lady is the MC breeder, cattery Aman Group, and the right lady is the owner. One of my red boys in the past moved to Aman Group and his offspring, a White MC boy was shown and became RW SGC. A beautiful white MC, Aman Group Luke Skywalker. Congrats!

2013年ー2014年度の全猫種のベストは、このカタログのWilliamani Red Rider君。
おめでとうございます！
この年は、レッドのメインクーンが豊作で、わがや家も含めショーに全部で4頭参加していました。その4頭全部がRWに入賞。日本のショー、行く所行く所に必ず赤色のライバルが・・・
今は、それもいい思い出です。　皆がいたから、ここまで来れました。
大変だったけども、それも含めてありがとうございます。

This red boy, IW SGC Williamina Red Rider was the Best Cat in Asia Region. And he is also IW AB winner too.

2013-2014, there were 4 red MC was participating.  I think it is not so common to have 4 reds in same year, especially when the entry numbers are getting low.
The shows held in Japan, every time where we go there was a red colored MC!

It is now a laughter and sweet memories to keep. And as they were also there we attended all the shows and got this result.
I sighed a lot but now it is a really good memory! Thank you to the 3 reds! It was nice sharing the same show and competing!

あかたすのインターナショナル入賞のロゼッタと盾・・・本当はアメリカに行って直接受け取りたかったのですが・・・　他の出席者の方が持って帰って下さる予定。
大きな目標が達成できたので、大事に飾るつもりです。

来年の今頃には、今回の入賞も遠い思い出となっているのは確か。
あかたすは決してショーキャットになるために生まれて来た訳ではありません。
猫として、素敵な時間を楽しむために生まれてきました。
彼の中でもショーはもう過去のこと。
今のまま、のんびり気ままな、素敵な猫生を元気に過ごしてくれればと思います。

あかたす、おめでとう。
入賞者の方おめでとうごさいます。
各ショーでお会いした皆様、いろいろお世話になりました。

Alberts IW rosette and plaque are to be bringing to Japan by some one who is attending the Annual Party. I wish I really could go but this time not... Will do something special for these items.

I think all the fun things relating to this shall easily turn into the "Good all days" by next Summer.
Albert was not born to become a Show Winner. He was born to live his own life as a "Cat"!
"SHOW CAT" days are now really over.
I just wish him to live his own life as a "CAT"!  Healthy and spoiled life!

また、末筆となりますが、あかたすが生まれて来るためにいろいろな世代で頑張って来た祖先の猫さん、それを支えてきた先輩ブリーダーの皆様に、心よりお礼申し上げます。
皆様の努力がなければ、あかたすもこの世に存在しませんでした。
決して、ひとりの力ではなし得ない事。　先人の努力と思いを、あかたすが代表の一匹として受賞という形にさせていただいたのだと思っております。

本当に、ありがとうございました。

Very final but very important:
We are so proud of Albert, mom Cindy and dad Ein.
And also many thanks to all the ancestors whom led Albert to be born! With those ancestors and effort of the each breeder, Albert was never born. Albert is one of the representing all the things the cats and breeders/owners has done.
This never have happened with out it.

Ralph Lauren & Fancy Pants! / ラルフ・ローレンとファンシー・パンツ！

今回掲載した写真は、7/19日にわが家に残っていたこの3匹と靴下履きのレッド君の4頭を連れて山崎哲さんのハウススタジオで撮影していただいたものです。

ジュディスとあかたす、シンディとアルフォンスの子供達のその後の話です。
写真の4匹の子達のうち、赤い子は先日ご紹介した通り、LOA君と言う名前でわが家のショーの大先輩のお家に引っ越しました。
左端のトービーの女の子は9月下旬にお引越予定です。今回は、右端のブラウンの男の子とその隣りのシルバー・トービーの女の子について。

This time, I would like to write about the update about Judith & Albert's kittens and Cindy & Alphonse's Kittens.

The red/white boy, as introduced the other day, already moved to his new family.
The Brown Torbie girl is to move to her new family around the end of September.
Today is about the Brown boy and the Silver Torbie girl.

ジュディスはわれわれの寝室のロフトで子供達を産み、シンディは一日後にわれわれのベッドの横で子供達を産みました。それぞれ別々の階で暮らしていましたが、生後1ヶ月になってからは、ロフトで生活することは子供達に危険があるため、二家族同居を決行。
子供たちはすぐに仲良しになりましたが、母親であるジュディスは神経質になっていて、シンディに対してなかなか打ち解けない日々が10日ほど続きました。
でも、そんな彼女の気持も、だれが母親なのかをまったく気にしないシンディの子供たちの体当たりの「ママ大好き！」攻撃によりだんだんと和らいで行きました。　気が付けばジュディスの子達がシンディの、シンディの子達がジュディスのおっぱいにぶら下がっていました。　これも、母親の偉大さに感動する一瞬でした。

Judith delivered her babies at the loft in our bed room. 

And Cindy delivered her babies beside our bed a day later.
They had their own territory but or after a month, we decided to let them share the same floor for safety.
Kittens got along so easily but Judith was very nervous for about 10 days... Especially to Cindy.

Both litters solved this situation so easily.  Kittens shared their mother. Some times Judith's babies were clinging to Cindy and sometimes Cindy's babies were drinking milk from Judith. I think that melted Judith's fear.
"Love attack" won! LOL
This was a wonderful thing to watch. Both mother loved all and all was happy being loved by both. 

ブラウンタビーの男の子、新しい名前をもらって無事海を越えて最愛の家族の元へと巣立っていきました。

名前は、”ラルフ・ローレン”。　永住の地はカナダ。

昨日の金曜日にえんどうが同伴して飛行機の座席の下、アメリカのシアトルに無事に到着しました。カナダへの移住は、土曜日の午後の予定です。

今まで、海を渡って海外移住した子はアルゼンチンに行った武士道だけでした。

今年はいろいろなご縁に恵まれ、子猫達が海を越えました。

Brown boy got a new name, Ralph Loren. He is now living in Canada now. Moved with Yasuyuki by plane, inside the cabin, under his feet. Landed at Seattle and moved by the car from there.

The kitten we have sent out to overseas was Bushido and this year we had came to know some more family living overseas. I really appreciate my best friend' for introducing them!

ラルフは、ジュディスとあかたすの間に生まれた3兄弟姉妹のうちで一番大きな子でした。

生後4ヶ月で体重3.4kg。　非常に綺麗なタビー模様を持つ男の子。

わんぱくで、元気いっぱい。いつも何かを狩っているような子です。

カナダに行くご縁が決まったのが6月。それからは彼に話しかける際には多少の英語を交えながら毎日を過ごしました。

今回のジュディスは子供達を大事に大事に育てました。　3回目の母親業で、慣れたのかも知れませんが、愛情を注ぐ、それを全部受け止めて育つということはこういうことか・・・と改めて母親の力強さを感じたリッターでした。

Ralph is son of Judith and Albert, one of the 3  of her kittens. He was born big and is now 4 month old and weighs 3.4kg. Has a very clear and beautiful tabby pattern,
Full of energy and easy going boy.
Since it was decide of him going to Canada, I started using some English talking to him! Hope it is working...

Judith devoted everything of what she has to this litter. This was her 3rd delivery so may be she had confident to what she was doing. Giving all and receiving all... Judith taught me many things during her nursing... Life is so wonderful... 

甘え上手で、猫も人も恐れるもの無し。天衣無縫という言葉は彼のためにある言葉だと思います。（掃除機は別ですがw・・・）

Knows how to share time with others, Ralph became a boy with no fear (except the vacuum cleaner! LOL)

All received the best from their 2 mothers.

さて、そのラルフと一緒にシアトル入りを果たしたのがシンディの子のファンシーです。

And this is Fancy who also moved to her new home. She moved to Seattle.

ファンシーははシンディの産んだ5匹の子供たちの中で一番小さかった子。生まれた時は110ｇほどあったのですが、一番最後に生まれたせいか、良いおっぱい（？）は確保しそびれたのかもしれません。（笑）

小柄ながら、非常にクールな美人さんです。小さい頃は産毛がぽわぽわしていて、一体どんな風になって行くのか秘かに気を揉んだのも今は笑い話です。そんな心配を私の大親友は笑い飛ばし、「彼女は美人になる！」と断言して励ましてくれたのも良い思い出です。

通称”ミス・タイニー”は”ファンシー・パンツ”という正式名に変わりました。

※  ファンシー・パンツ：「活かした女の子」という意味があるそうです。

ファンシー・パンツの呼び名はファンシー。　彼女はアメリカのキャッテリーの一員となります。　母親のシンディと同じように子煩悩な母親になってくれればと思います。

シルバーは父のアルフォンスから。トービーの赤い色は母親のシンディから。クールな雰囲気は誰から受け継いだのでしょうか？

Fancy is one for the 5 kittens which Cindy delivered. And one of the very last litter of Alphonse. She was about 110g when she was born but became the smallest of the litter. May be she could not get one of the best position of her mother's breast.

She is now a very cool looking princess. When she was a  baby, her coat was too soft and was sticking from every where and I could not imagine how she is going to become. I was quite anxious about her looks but my friend was always telling me that there is nothing to worry about her looks. And yes she really turned out to be a beautiful MC kitten.

She is now the member of the MC cattery. I really hope to become a good mother like Cindy.
Silver color comes from her dad Alphonse and red part comes from Cindy. And where did the cool personality came from... Just wondering... LOL 

ジュディスの子供2匹、シンディの子供4匹。　みんなわが家を無事に巣立っていきました。それぞれの母親達とわれわれが関わったのはここまで。　後は皆がそれぞれ、新しいお家で自分たちの個性を花開いて行く番です。元気に花開くだけのエネルギーは十分に備わっているはずです。

みんなの、今後の幸せを心より願っています。

最後となりますが、今回の子供達からご飯に生肉を取り入れ始めました。

生肉とそれに加える10種以上のサプリ。　カナダの大親友が長いこと調整したどり着いたレシピです。

このレシピのおかげで、8頭全員すこぶる元気に育ってくれました。

あらためて、レシピを提供してくれた友人に感謝の意を表したいと思います。

Judith's 2 kittens left, Cindy's 4 also left. There mother did all what they can. Now it is there turn to show what they have. We believe they have enough energy to live their new life with their new family.

We pray and wish the best for all of them!

And lastly, we would like to say many thank you to my best friend. Both litters were raised with raw food. This was our first challenge and without her own recipe, I think we could not have this well growing litter.

おまけ：

生まれた子猫達は合計8匹。　巣立った/巣立つ予定は7匹。　残り1匹は・・・　

そうなんです、「今回は誰もわが家には残らない！」と公言していたにも関わらず「明けてびっくり玉手箱！」とでも言うのでしょうか？

気が付いたら”男と男の約束！”（？）でわが家に残ることになりました。

仮名ハッピー、正式名は「ハーバート」、通称ハーブ。

レッドシルバーの男の子です。　祖父のエドに似た大きな男の子です。

この子に関しては、またショーの写真などであらためてご紹介していくつもりです。

PS:
Total 8 kittens were born from Judith and Cindy. 6 has left and another girl is going to leave in near future.
Still one 1 left and he is going to stay with us. His nick name was "Happy" now formally "Herbert". I was planing to keep none this time but Yasuyuki made a promise with Herb directly... Words should not be broken even it is between kitten and human. LOL So he is going to be with us.

His first show will next Saturday. Looking forward how he will be evaluated  at the ring.
4.5 month old, red classic tabby boy goes to his 1st show.  A boy who has the taste of Cindy and his grandfather Edward!

4 ever Love ! / 性格出ています！

生後3ヶ月ちょっとで、山崎哲／裕子夫妻に撮って頂いた子猫達。
ブラウン系がジュディスとあかたすの3匹のうちの2匹。
もう１匹のブラウンの男の子はこの写真撮影の前に素敵なご家族の元に引っ越しました。

レッドとシルバートービーがシンディとアルフォンスの4匹のうちの子供達。
こちらは5姉妹兄弟だったのですが、女の子１匹と男の子１匹はやはり早めにお引っ越ししました。　そして、レッドシルバーの男の子はわが家に残ることになったので、新しいお家に引っ越す残り4頭での撮影となりました。

Brown colors are the offspring of Judith and Albert.
They were 3 siblings but one moved to his forever loving home before this session.

Red and the Silver Torbie girl are form Cindy and Alphonse.
They are the very last litter of Alphonse. Their were 2 girls and 3 boys. One girl also moved to her forever loving home before and the boy is to stay with us.

So we took 4 kittens, whom are all moving for the photo session.

皆、それぞれわが家を卒業です。
一番早かったのがレッドの男の子。
撮影の翌日に新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

All found a wonderful forever loving home of their own.
And the red boy moved to his new family the next day of this session.

素敵な思い出になりました！

Be Happy my Red! / レッド君幸せに！

昨日の土曜日は、山崎哲・裕子ご夫妻のハウススタジオにお邪魔して、4月生まれの子猫達の写真を撮っていただきました。
連れて行ったのは、ジュディスの子供二匹、シンディの子供二匹の計四匹。
いずれもわが家を巣立つ予定の子達です。

ジュディスの子供達はブラウン・トービーの女の子とブラウンの男の子。
シンディの方は、シルバー・トービーの女の子と、レッドの白靴下履きの男の子。
みんな道中おとなしく車に揺られていました。

ご夫妻に撮っていただいた写真は、それぞれのオーナー様へのプレゼントです。
集合写真もお願いしました。撮っていただいた写真は、後日アップさせていただきます。
さて、このセッションをリクエストした時点では、子猫の数は全部で8頭でした。
この約1ヶ月の間に、3匹がそろぞれの未来のオーナー様の元に引っ越して行きました。

そして今日の朝はレッド君がお迎えの車に乗って新しいお家に。
新しいママの胸にしっかり抱かれている姿を見て、このお家に引っ越す事が彼の運命だったのだとあらためて思い、また安堵しました。　運命とかいうと大げさなようですが、縁というのはとっても大事な物で、それは「パズルのピースが収まるべき所に嵌る」ようなものだと思います。レッド君にも最高の幸せを・・・と願っていたところ、「このご家族だったらわたしがうれしい」と思える先が見つかり今回の縁組みとなりました。
新しいお家に着いてからの写真を見せていただきましたが、もうすっかり馴染んでいる感じの顔。送り出した側としては最高です！
いつになく早々と全員の行き先が決まりました。
寂しい以上に何かわくわくする思いでいっぱいで、本当によかった。

下の写真は、レッド君に旅立ちのためのグルーミングをするカッパ嬢。
普段は小さい子にあまり感心を示さない彼女が可愛がっていた弟分。
彼女流のお祝い伝え方なのかもしれません。

残った子供たちも8月にはそれぞれの終の住処に引っ越して行きます。

別れは寂しくもあり、また安堵の思いも運んでくれます。
無事に生まれてくれたこと、母猫からさんさんと輝く太陽のような愛情をいっぱいに受けていたこと。
おばさんやおじさん猫達から猫社会のルールを時に厳しく/時に優しく体をはって教わり育って来ました。

これからは、新しいお家でそれぞれの個性を伸ばして行く番です。
バトンは新しいご家族に引き継がれました。

子猫をご家族に迎えてくださった皆様、ジュディスとシンディが精魂込めて育て、わが家の大人猫達が教育を施したこの子達。
どうぞ、家族の一員として末永く可愛がってやってください。

えんどうやすゆき、由加里

Mille-Feuille/ ミルフィーユちゃん

ブルークラシックトービーの女の子、「ミルフィーユ」ちゃんという新しいお名前になって、サムお兄ちゃんが待っているお家に引っ越して行きました。
サムお兄ちゃんのママは、ミルフィーユちゃんと同じシンディ。

もちろん、ふたりは顔を合わせたことが無いからお引越して数日は中々難しいかなと思いますが。

わんぱくミルフィーユちゃんと心優しいサム君。
直ぐに仲良くなってくれるのではないかと思います。

もう三ヶ月、まだ三ヶ月。
早いものです。でも、やっぱりまだ三ヶ月。
これから、もっと素敵な女の子に育っていくと思います。
D様、ミルフィーユちゃんをよろしくお願いいたします。

Oreo and Colon! / オレオ君とコロン君

左がブラウンクラシックタビーのオレオ君、右がクリームシルバーのコロン君。

ふたり仲良く、新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

オレオ君は、ジュディスとあかたすの息子。
おじいちゃんのアインにも似た男の子です。
人も猫も大好きで、リビングに居た時には、よく大きいおばさん達から可愛がられたり、たしなめられたり。

こちらは、ジャニーズ系（？）の美男子コロン君。
シンディとアルフォンスの最後の子供達のひとりです。
ママ譲りの綺麗なクリームと思っていたら、毛の根元が白っぽくて、どうやらクリームシルバーのよう・・・
ちょっと控えめな感じの美男子君。
昔わが家で生まれてお引越したユベントス君を思わせる子。

ただし、食べる事に関しては誰にも引けを取らないタイプのようです。

K様ご夫妻、オレオ君とコロン君をよろしくお願いいたします。

ブルー・クラシック・トービーの女の子:　新しいお家が決まりました！
男の子顔負けの活発な子です。
最近は男の子を待ち伏せしてプロレスを挑む遊びもマスターしたようですw
よく食べ、よく遊び、よく寝るの毎日を繰り返しています！
顔の半分が薄い色をしていて、独特の雰囲気があります。
写真では表現しにくい色ですが、独特の色の変化が表情を更に豊かに見せてくれます。

レッド・クラシック・タビー白靴下履きの男の子:　新しいお家が決まりました！
白い靴下が、赤いコートの色をさらに鮮やかに見せてくれています。
一緒に居て、凄く楽しい子です。何でも一生懸命。食べるのも、遊ぶのも。
そして寝る時も。　そのせいか、起きて来るのは一番最後w
一緒に楽しい時間を過ごしたい方、是非会いにきてやってください！

クリーム・クラシック・タビー白靴下履きの男の子:　新しいお家が決まりました！
兄弟の中では、ワイルドな中にも貴公子的な感じを持った男の子です。
大きな耳、端正な横顔にボディも長く、ちょっと見惚れてしまう感ありです（親バカ！）
おっとりしていて、食べるのもゆっくりなせいか、時々おやつを食べそびれてしまうこともあるようです。　ちょっぴり奥手なハンサムボーイです！w

新しいご家族募集の子供達も3匹になりました。
まだ、生後2.5ヶ月半。　今までの子供達の中では一番早く大人の雰囲気をまとっているような気がします。
