Reebok's now days 3 / リーボックの今 3

「さて、私は誰でしょう？」
ジュディスではないけれど、ジュディスの色違いのような子！

そう、ジュディスの娘のひとり、リーボックです♪
昨日、リーボックのパパから嬉しいお便りが届きました。

遠藤 様大変ご無沙汰しております。
一年ぶりのご連絡になりました。
先日、7歳の誕生日を無事迎えました！ 

我が家に来て一年半ぐらいになりまして、相変わらずの甘えん坊ぶりも有りますが、へそ天をするようになりリラックスしている様子を見ることが多くなりました☆ 

最近の写真をお送りします(*^▽^*)

あのリーボックがヘソ天！　素晴らしいことです！　しっかりとS家の一員になってると言うことですね。
リーボックは、女子ながら体が男の子並みに大きいので、ヘソ天をしている写真は何だか長毛のラッコのようにも見えます。写真で見てもユーモラスで可愛いので目の前でこの姿をされたらデレデレになること間違いなし！（産婆バカですみません）

以前にも書きましたが、こうやって見ると今のリーボックはママのジュディスに本当によく似ています♪　ママのジュディスは現役を引退してからダイナマイト・ボディー（一言で言うと「太った」）になり、今や色違いの双生児親子。

うちに居た時と変わらぬ面影。新しいご縁を他繰り寄せるまで時間がちょっとかかったかもしれませんが、最高に幸せそうなリーボックの写真を見ると本当によかったと思います。

で、リーボックがジュディスとどれぐらい似ているかの写真を最後に載せさせていただきます。


ジュディス・ママとパパ違いの妹のぷりたすです。

リーボックの姉妹のカッパ（現：うにちゃん）、フレイヤちゃん、兄弟の武士道君達も元気です。魅人君も元気だと思います。

もちろん、パパのヴィクター氏も元気です。

長々と書いてしまいましたが、S様、これからのリーボックもよろしくお願いいたします。

Satsuma's last litter / さつまとアルフレッドの最後の子供達

8/22にさつまの子供達が4匹生まれました。
今回は全員女の子。ブラウン×２とブラウントービー×2。全員元気に育って無事に1ヶ月をすぎました。

On Aug. 22nd, Satsuma delivered her last babies. Proud father is again Alfred. All are girls, 2 brown classic and 2 brown torbies.
They are now a month old.

こちらが、頭の天辺に一筋赤が入っている仮名モヒカンちゃん。
もうすでに気の強さの片鱗が見えているような…

This is "Mohican". She has a red blushed line on the top of her head and also has some cream colors on her paws. As a torbie, she already looks like having a very strong character... LOL

こちらの左側がブラウンちゃん＃1。何にでも挑戦するチャレンジャー。勝手にママのご飯を食べ始めています。

This is Ms. Brown #1. She is a challenger and already eating her mom's food. Has a very strong chin and muzzle.

もうひとりのトービーちゃん。鼻筋に赤系の色が入っています。

爪とぎの上に乗っている写真は寝起きなので、ちょっと渋目の表情w

Another torbie girl. Has a cream colored blaze. She just woke up while I was taking the photos so looks a bit sleepy.

最後がブラウン＃2ちゃん。
今のところ一番女の子らしい顔をしています。

Last is the brown #2.
Right now she has the very girly look. Big eyes with soft looks.

こちらはさつまママと子供達の写真。
生後18日の頃のものです。

This is proud mama Satsuma and her babies when they were about 18 days old.

さつまはこれが5回目の出産。10月の終わりには6歳になりますので、この子たちを育て上げたら現役を引退します。合わせてパパのアルフレッドも現役引退予定です。アルフレッドにもいっぱいパパになってもらいました。
あとの猫生はふたりともにゆったりした時間を過ごしてもらえればと思っています。
大きい病気もせずに、元気でいてくれること、これが一番の幸せ。
子育てももう一踏ん張り！　ありがとう、さつま、ありがとうアルフレッド。

Satsuma delivered totally 5 litters. At the end of next month she is going to be 6 years old. She was one of the best mom in our cattery but it is time for her to enjoy her own life. She produced many wonderful kittens with Alfred and Jake.
Our proud queen Satsuma and Alfred are going to retire from the breeding program.
They both did not like the Cat Show but brought many happiness to us and the families who welcomed their kittens. A little more to go for Satsuma and then she can live her life 100% free with Alfred and others.

Alice in Forever Home / 幸せの国のアリス

約一年ほど前にわが家から巣立って行ったアリスのパパが新しい写真を送って来てくださいました。
今年の12月で、彼女も７歳。シニアの仲間入りをする年齢になりますが、今も変わらずピカピカに輝いています。

Alice's family has sent us lots of new photo!
She is going to be 7 years old in Dec. Her age may be categorized as senior but still looks very young.

今のお家に引っ越す前に一回新しいお家に行ったのですが、ご家族の中で猫アレルギーを発症してしまった方がいて、1日で戻って来てしまった経緯がありました。
たった1日だけの外泊だったにも関わらず、戻って来たアリスの落ち込みようは迎えたわれわれも心を痛めるほどでした。
誰が悪いわけでもなく、色々なものをアリスのお迎えの為に準備してくださっていたご家族。ただただ、ご縁が無かったのだとつくづく感じたのを思い出しました。
このままわが家に居れば良い。他の子達と仲良くなりきれなくても、それもありだと思って暫くは元の生活に戻ってのんびりしていました。

She moved to her new family once but came back the very next day due to allergy of one of the humans. Even only a day away from us it was but it left her some trauma... She looked so depressed for few days and watching that was also a pain to us.
No body was bad,  just a bad luck for all. We still thank the family for preparing everything for her. 
She can stay with us as long as she wants. No need to have strong bond with other members if she doesn't want too... We were thinking like that.

しばらくして、昨年の今頃新たな出会いがありアリスは引っ越して行きました。
今までの事情をお話し、猫同士べったりした関係は好まない子だと。アリスの性格を伝える私の話をしっかりと聴き、お迎えを決意してくださったご家族には、改めてお礼申し上げます。

写真の一枚一枚から今アリスが最高に幸せなのだと言うことを、つくづく感じます。

アリスの写真をいっぱい送って来てくださり、本当にありがとうございます。
アリス、本当に輝けるお家を見つけて良かったね！

どうぞ、これからもアリスをよろしくお願いします。

And time past and about a year ago, the current family came to meet her.
We explained what has happened to her and she is different from the ordinary image of MC. We really thank for listening to her story carefully and welcomed her.

From each photo we can see how happy she is now.

A Girl with a Bowl: Uni 5/ 鉢かつぎ姫：うにちゃん 5

旧名かっぱこと、うにちゃんのご家族から嬉しいお便りが届きました！
うにちゃんは、ジュディスとヴィクターの子供達のうちのひとりで、兄弟姉妹はフレイヤ、リーボック、武士道と魅人君達。
9月の末には、7歳になります。

Aka Kapppa, now Uni's family has sent us a happy mail!
Uni is the daughter of Judith and Victor and the litter mate of Freyja,  Reebok, Bushido and Mito. They are to be 7 years old by end of this month.

大変ご無沙汰しております。

ほぼ1年ぶりになってしまい申し訳ありません。

うにの様子をお知らせいたします。 

Hello,
Long time from the last greetings. Almost a year before. Following is the update of Uni, 

 

うちに来た当初は鉢かつぎ姫だったうにですが、最近のお気に入りはコストコでもらってきた段ボール箱です。

段差が気に入ったようで、すっかり箱入り娘になりました（笑） 

Uni, who was "A Girl with a Bowl" is now a "Girl in the Costco Box"!
Looks like she is founded with the step inside and now is a "Cat in the Box" LOL 

 

また、水槽の水を飲むのもマイブームになりました。。

飲みづらくないのかしら・・・？と思うのですが、毎日のように上手に飲んでいます。水位が下がると、水入れて！と言いに来ます（笑）

おなかを壊したりはしていないのですが、私としてはあと2か所あるボウルの水もおすすめだよ・・・とも思っています。 

She also loves to drink form the fish tank.
Isn't is hard to drink... ? But she drinks so easily and when the water lever goes low, she comes to me and asks to "add water, please!" LOL
No bad stomach, but you can drink from the bowls set for you... is every time I see this. 

 

一緒にベッドで寝てくれたり、ほら！ここにいるけど？と手を出してくれたりとリラックスしている姿を見せてくれるのがうれしい限りです。７歳の誕生日も元気に過ごしてほしいと願っています。

また写真が集まったら、近況をお知らせいたします。

Sleeps with us, gives paws to show "I'm here! And?" Those makes us really happy and to see her really relaxed is our joy. We really wish her to have a happy and healthy 7 years old B day.

今や、ママのジュディスにそっくりな顔になって。
6歳になってからの新しいご家族の元に引っ越したうにちゃん。馴染むのに時間がかかるかと心配していましたが、すぐに先住のちくわ君とも仲良くなって穏やかな毎日を過ごしているようです。

こう言う穏やかな暮らしができるところが、大人猫を迎える楽しさなのだと改めて思います。素敵に歳を重ねられるのも、幸せな証拠。

ちょっと気が早いかもしれませんが、みんなお誕生日おめでとう！

Uni really looks like her mom Judith now.
Moving to a new family after being 6 years old was a bit worry. May take quite a time to become the member but it easily went well. And shortly Uni and Chikuwa became good friends also.

This type of warm and slow life may be one of the big advantage of welcoming an adult cat. Being healthy and enjoying everyday life show they are living a happy life.

Late-summer greeting / 残暑お見舞い申しあげます♪

毎日酷暑が続いておりますが、みなさまお元気でしょうか？

わが家は、猫と一緒に人間もぐうたらしております。

日本では8月はキャット・ショーは無いのですが海外では結構行われており、８月の初めに応援のためカナダのオンタリオ州のキャット・ショーに行ってきました。

中規模程度のショーでしたが、メインクーンを初め色々な猫種が見れて勉強になりました。いつも通り写真とビデオをかなりの量撮ったのでアップしなければと思いながら、既に1ヶ月近くが経過してしまいました…

In Japan, now days, it is extremely hot! But we are doing OK by sticking inside the house and hope every body enjoying these days.

Luckily we do not have any Cat Show in Aug. in Japan, so instead I visited Ontario, Canada beginning of this Aug. It was another great chance to see the oversea's show and had a chance to take bunch of photos and videos. And I know it has almost a month since I came back and still have done nothing to update those ... LOL

8日間ほど留守にしていたツケで、未だに家の中が何となく落ち着かない状況ではあります。

腎臓が悪くなり体調を崩しているケル吉さんは、小康状態を保っていますが、今年は初老期を迎えた子達にはちょっと辛い夏となっています。

そんな中、８/22の夜にさつまが無事に4頭の赤ちゃん達を出産しました。

8 days of absence is still not recovered yet... Still have to clean the rooms etc...

Our Micael who now has kidney decease lost his weight but still eating quite a lot. Thanks to his appetite. Not so much we can do but just wishing his every day life to be the happiest one...

And on 22nd, Satsuma delivered 4 babies.

さつまにとって、これが最後の出産となります。子育てが終わったら現役を引退予定で、同時に赤ちゃん達の父猫であるアルフレッドも引退予定となっています。

出産から早9日。目が開いた子達もおり、これから可愛い盛りになっていくと思うと、無事に育つことの心配と同時に楽しみが増えた気がする今日この頃です。

赤ちゃん達の写真は、おりを見ながらアップさせていただく予定です。

とりあえず、みんな元気にはしております。
みなさまも、体調には十分お気をつけてこの季節をお過ごしください。

All seems to be very nice. This is her last delivery. She will retire fro our breeding program and so does Alfred.
Now the babies are 9 days old and started to open their eyes!
